Would be a step back in my opinion, having read a few reports etc about the game it seems the problem is our inability to accept the long ball game when we're playing shorties up front and natural passers in the middle.
The sooner Blackie reverts to keep the ball on the floor way of playing the sooner the fans will start to get off his back.
Hendrie has to start instead of Howard for the next game.

Deffinately. He came on at had a look today he didnt look like a headless chicken and looked like the player we need while speed is out.
He is the one to steady the midfield in my opinion.

Tonge is a nice lad with lots of talent but right now he has to have very little confidence, big transfer and can barely make the bench most of the time. Not likely to set the Lane on fire with the sort support he had when he left.

When are the real rumours going to appear? Always thought you guys were close enough to pick up some hint of what was coming without needing to be creative. Though at least my buddy Peter Tonge could start wearing his shirt again.
