Did he give us one back for the watch fiasco against Villa? Watched the Spurs goal several times and still can't tell if the ball actually hit Moura on the arm.

Either way we were due that bit of luck.

I'm sure Egan booted it against his arm/shoulder on purpose. A good tactic given the rule

The handball is from when he falls on the ball, not the ricochet off the clearance - the angle from behind the goal was the clearest. It’s a shite rule but it did touch his hand/arm as he fell.

He passes it with his arm to Kane.

A thousand times more clearcut than Lunstrams big toe 5 passes back or thr Villa non decision.

He's the best ref in the league for me.

Admittedly, at times, that doesn't count for much.

He's not afraid to give big decisions, against the more popular clubs, but he isn't Mike Dean, who wants to be the star of the show.

Genuinely think Dean is the best of the lot - not saying much really. Yeah it’s often all
about Mike Dean when he refs but he takes less of the shit that other refs seem to tolerate

And it's within the rules for that to happen and not be penalised for it.

Exactly. I’m not sure how playing on from a foul works into that. It’s just an awful rule. Had Basham torn off Son’s arm and brushed the bloody stump against the ball from Kane’s shot, by the letter of the law the goal is disallowed. Basham would you’d assume also have faced a lengthy ban from the game, but would have least have ended with a clean sheet.

Egan loves smashing a ball into someone’s arm to get a VAR decision.
