I know we don't want Brownie back at the Lane now ,but no need for all this vitriol against him. He has been our best player of the past 2 decades and was the main reason for THE season.

And that's all it was - one season. Some players inexplicably have 'one of those seasons', never to be repeated. Could be that Ched had his season in 2011/12.

He didn't only have "one" season. He was a great player but he peaked in the 2002/03 season. This was definately related to the arrival of McCall who enabled Brown to push further forward. Brown is another example of a player jumping ship from SUFC at the wrong time. He could have followed up 'that' season with another had he stayed on with the blades for another season... Who knows, he might have been a Spurs regular had he waited a bit longer.

We all have great opinions on MB, so the question is who do u think is a better option.. Available and also that would love to play for our great club.. He has been a seasoned regular for Them over there, never fails to give 100% and tbh would not carry a hefty wage or be likely to be poached due to his age.. He's a short term solution in my opinion. There's always monty or tonge.. We all mention EX players so let's shout out some suitable candidates since were all knowledgable

Anyone who didn't play for us previously?

I've heard brian Deane is available
Tony Agana n'all...

MB was superb in Blades'engine room, loved the way he got stuck in.

Unfortunately,Browny's legs have gone the same way as the lads' Saturday late night visits to "The Limit." club. Memories are good, but the past is just that.

Though,Browny rightly should be welcomed back t' Lane any time he wishes, though as a fan now-not a player.

Moreover, folks,THAT play-off penalty miss still breaks my ticker even to this day... That and the Don G*****s one of course:mad:

I think Mickey Adams has signed him..?

He may have scored one of the greatest goals in Blades' history but it's still a no from me

I'd put Beattie's last-ditch free kick in the kop end against the pigs up there with it. Why don't we get BT back? :D

Seriously, Leeds are obviously changing their image and clearing out cloggers. And they've just got Nile Ranger on loan. If ever a team and a player deserved each other...
