Well if he stays with Pompey he will deffo be at the lane next season :p

Should we try and get him back now as I wouldn't imagine any Premiership club will be in for him. How many championship clubs could pay his wages and maybe we would tug on his heart strings.
Get Tonge on loan and see if could recreate the 2002/3 season they had together when most people assumed Blackwell was the key to their partnership.

Or should we persevere with Harper and Quinn et al :D

I can't really see what he could offer us that we don't already have.

Let's get players who were good seven years ago, but aren't now. Brown was a rampaging goal-scoring midfielder, but he hasn't scored a league goal for over four years now. Tonge was a player who could cut a team apart. He'd have difficulty slicing bread these days. So what's the point in signing them? Because it's not to play like they used to, after all Brown is 33 now.

Wondered mi sen about this, I wouldn`t be suprised if he turned up at QPR

My vote is for Gordon Cowans. He could pass a ball. Isn't Tony Currie still around the Lane as well? If we pay him, he might as well put some boots on for us.

Idle get.
