Gibbs-White is showing he could solve long-standing issue for Wolves
Morgan Gibbs-White might be showing he can be the goalscoring midfielder Wolves really need in their squad.www.molineux.news
Article from a Wolves news site saying that MGW could have an important role to play at Molineux next season.
Obviously it's basically just paper/fan talk at the moment, but it seems their fans would like him back.
Even if we go up I don't think we can keep him, which is a big shame as he fits the team and the club so well
I don't think he "fits" the team, I think he is the team. He's completely changed our style of play. I think he'd have had this sort of impact at any of Fulham, Bournemouth, Forest, Middlesbrough etc. He looks for work, he forces the issue, he's creative, explosive, he's got so many tools. Sure, consistency and decision making can be off at times, but he's a young player.
He's too good for this team and this division and there's no way he'll be here next season. We aren't going up, but if we did it'd be a shame to see him trying his best to get us going when we're getting hammered most weeks. I think his head would go and you'd see his petulant side (which is a bit of an issue) come out.
He should go back to Wolves and force his way in there. Failing that, a move to a good footballing side like Palace or Southampton would suit him.
