MGW - My mystic plan

There’s only one Morgan Gibbs white, one Morgan Gibbs white, he used to be alright but now he’s shite, walking in a Gibbs white wonderland.

Like a lot of fellow Blades I was disappointed MGW signed for Forest.

However despite being ambivalent to them in previous seasons the crap at last year's POSF really pissed me off. Actually it was their keeper's antics that got to me and that was before the aftermatch fisticuffs.

So I have been really hoping they get stuffed this season and despite the BBC's orgasmic wank fest over them (as per Leeds a couple of seasons ago ) they have now been found out and are doing their best to emulate Fulham from a few seasons ago i.e. spend megabucks on loads of players - and still lose hand over fist.

So with the magicblades doing their stuff I am hoping that come next season we will have swapped places with the tricky trees and MGW actually comes to the club where he can really shine.

Here's hoping.

I just like the idea of a mystical bear me.

I would have liked to see MGW still at BDTBL, he is now a big money signing and not likely to be playing in a Blades shirt again.
We move on :-)

All about himself and not the team. Ndiaye made him look a better player than he actually is. Fuck Gibbs white the greedy cunt same as Henderson the money grabbing lying tosspots. Both will be relegated with Florest this season (By Christmas I hope) swapping places with us mighty Blades. And dare to believe he’s Norwegian he’s just a little reason sufc will be playing in Europe in 2 seasons

What an odd post!

Have a look at his goals highlights reel from last season , he can score every conceivable type of goal with foot or head
He's too good for.the championship but is he good enough for the premier league ?
Wolves coaching staff and fans didn't seem to think so

I really like the lad and could see him doing well at the right club but he does give the ball away an awful lot

Big areas of much needed refinement in MGW's game were very evident last season and were pointed out on here at the time ;). He was a maverick that could only play one position when given complete licence to do so in a team structure completely set up to emphasise HIS strengths. The best thing for his development was another season in the Championship where he was guaranteed to play many games in a possession based side. His decision making, consistency and tactical awareness should have continued to progress given this space to develop.
As it is, he's playing for a team that can't afford him turning the ball over or being out of shape. Mistakes are being ruthlessly punished and, in truth, he's looking a bit overwhelmed. In other words - the expected outcome. That said, I rate Cooper and it's not inconceivable that Forest manage to survive with MGW getting enough game time to benefit himself in the long run. If he's not playing he should get himself out on loan in January.

I agree he gave the ball away a lot not something you can afford to do in the PL there does need to be a lot of refinements to make him the superstar he can become I wish him well

Mgw is not the finished article neither are Forest. I wouldn't have him back now because I don't think we need him. However if we lose Ndaiye to injury or in January. I would see him as an obvious replacement I suspect he will be a success at Forest eventually and we wouldn't get him anyway. Why people on here feel the need to hate on him I just don't understand. So he went to Forest he hates us and he's some kind of mercenary traitor. GLTTL he was terrific for us and I believe contributed to Ndaiyes progress.

Where’s he playing for Forest? Are they playing him in midfield? If they are it might come down to the role he’s playing for us he played the same role as Didzy that being the deeper striker in a two often alongside sharp and that seemed to get the best out of him.

He was one of two strikers at top, I told my forest mate he needs to drop back or play behind two strikers. He did and they still lost, I'm asked what we ever saw in him I reply the lad who started against your lot 🤷‍♂️

Who knows what he did very well here was form understandings with other players the connection he and Ndiaye had was very clear so was his relationship with Billy both knowing where the other would be when played together.

I’d suggest either the sheer number of new players at Forest is making forming those partnerships very difficult or that the players he’s playing with don’t have that same nouse. I think it’s probably the former he was never going to be as effective stepping up a level but he’s certainly no mug.
