Sheffield United loanee Morgan Gibbs-White is being monitored closely by parent-club Wolves as they weigh up whether or not to recall him in the January transfer window, Football League World understands.

Football League World understands that Wolves are making constant checks on Gibbs-White and may well activate their clause to recall him as fans at Molineux clamour for his return.

agreed we really need wolves to pick up for us to have any chance of keeping mgw but the way their playing its looking like a relegation battle for them so thats bad news for us

It can work either way, although I expect him to be recalled if Wolves continue to struggle, their manager might feel they are struggling defensively rather than up front

Who knows what will happen, but I think the £25 - £30 million figures are a bit over the top, he would cost a lot less than that I think

It's difficult how you value a player like him. He is some talent and capped at England U21 level and being only 21 he does have time on his side. Unless he vastly improves I can't see him making the England 1st team mainly due to the current crop of youngsters of talent that is progressing through however I can easily see a £25million price tag
