Set You Free.

Everybody's Free was Rosalla.

I'm Free was John Inman.
Of course it was , silly mistake , Is the video of Rosalla the one of her in New York
wearing next to nowt .
When we touch each other
In a state of ecstasy
Want this night to last forever
Only love can set you free ..........

At Burnley, yes.

3-0 at Oldham
Yes, lost 3:0 I was with hundreds of other Blades on their "kop".
Been several times 70s & 80s, hard to remember what happened when, remember the hotdog sellers trolley getting kicked down the terrace on the away end. One time got chucked in the police van, they had several Blades in there and waited till the ground was emptying at full time and chucked us out into the street full of Oldham fans, they were hoping we would get beat up, but the reverse happened, a big crew of Blades appeared and steamed in to help us out.

Yes. Near a bridge (Brooklyn?).

I was in the police van for pissing on the wall behind the away end, that day the coppers were ejecting loads of Blades fans, I got put in the van for giving him verbals.
Germany V England I will be at home watching it from the comfort of our sofa. Also on a works "outing" on Thursday & Friday. TBH unless they were in Munich I wouldn't bother, if it was the Blades playing in Germany somewhere, now that would be another matter.

That was the day Man Utd lost their unbeaten record, not won their 10th. They lost 1-0 to the Pigs at the Sty.

Yes that's right mate! Thanks for jogging my memory! I knew there must have been a reason for me remembering that run they'd been on.

This will be my 4th time at Oldham........I really really hope it's the last, unless Oldham come up that is :)

UTB

My oldham memory is the 2-3 disaster at the Lane in 2011-12.

All from memory:
2-0 up and cruising
Ridiculous diving header own goal from Cresswell
Freak Oldham equaliser
Lost 3-2
Lescinel injured and never really played again. a player I really liked.
2 sent off
Lost at Walsall a few days later mainly due to the fall out from the oldham game
Lost out on promotion
Still here 5 years later

Only visit there was in the late 80's. Lost three or four one on the plastic pitch and got piss wet through on the open terrace.
Abiding memory of the day was a group of Unitedites singing "We hate your batteries, we do" etc.
As an aside, did that advert hold the record for the most consecutive seasons attached to the Bramall Lane stand ?

I have read this about a million times and have no idea what you're on about - sorry :-(

Don't know which match it was, probably early 90s, but it was the first time I'd been away on a minibus from a pub in hackenthorpe.
Think there were about 25 on a 14 seater on the way there, and only about half a dozen of us came home on it.

That bloody game has a lot to answer for, and is probably a very good reason we're still here in L1. The turning point of the 2011/12 season

What happened to everyone else?
