After ending Feb with a horror 3-2 loss to a shocking QPR team where we looked in control (Ifill missed a crucial pen that would have given us a nice 3-1 lead), we followed it with an appalling 0-0 at home to Crewe, and then the wheels fell off with the 2-0 loss at Coventry. And then we lost 2-1 at Norwich, which though a better performance, was again a day where we threw it away when ahead. What had been a nice 10 point lead before the QPR game turned into a 4 point lead over Leeds having played a game more.

We do this. Things are never simple with us. We didn't lose another game in 2006 after that worrying spell. Keep the faith.

Well said. I can't wait for the next home game and roaring the boys on to 3 points. Esp now piggies are crawling out of the woodwork...

I can take the banter from the ones that actually go to the games. Its the ones that go to 1 or 2 games a season, if that, that really, really fuck me right off.

If Maguire, Collins, Lowton are all back in Saturday then my fears will have gone.

A bonus would be Macca back as well which is possible.

Win the next 2 games and everything is as it was BUT this is SUFC though and its not that simple.

You are right we fucked up in March 2006 but still tied promotion up in April so maybe just maybe.

Having said all that I am still pissed off and a draw should of been salvaged with this make shift team.

good point made by Mod the God below.

Humble pie consumed and post deleted.

Apologies made.

United lost, Weds won and both my bets failed.

bad night.

I think the comment was aimed at the pig fans who gloat despite not going, not United fans who can't afford to go...

I remember the Norwich game clearly and coming away with a feeling that if we played like that we would prevail, and as I am at Brentford and ColU in the next two matches, I am positive the corner will be turned.

Maybe all fans realise that the players need our 100% devoted support and backing for all matches to get us all over the line. After all we all want the same thing, so let's stick together, roll our sleeves up and back Danny to get the team right and take us to promotion.

UTB

I said before it had a 2006 look to it. Remember though it's not just us, Leeds and Watford failed to take advantage in 2006 and although Wendy and Udders won last night, they've not picked up many more points than us in recent weeks and we're still 2nd. We just need to ride out this dodgy spell and hope to get the team back fully fit for the last 10 games.
