Now that we've escaped this horror of a league. I'm just wondering what our memories are from the last six years? As we move on up to where we belong.

Apart from this season pretty horrible ones.

Please please whoever runs our club or may run it in the future don't let it happen again.

Met loads of great fans in the Dev Cat in the years we've been in this division. Leyton Orient in particular stand out in that regard.

Before this season, the strongest memory I had was away at Gillingham on the opening day of last season! Thankfully, that one can start to fade into obscurity.

Summer of 2014 and the million pound blockbuster brought to our screens 'The Laying of the Desso'.

For us old 'un's it's up there with the Summer of love 1967 and that heatwave summer of 1976.

Michael Doyle .
Neill Collins.
Clough and the fucking self satisfied grin at another fucking draw.
Great football in Wilson's first season.
Wilson unable to beat the pigs.
Adkins talking shit.
Wilder setting the tone by getting rid of many bags of shit.

I'll remember it in 3 segments.

The first season where we were good, exciting but very unfortunate.

Depressing, forgettable shite between 2012/13 - 2015/16.

Then this season, embodied by Chris Wilder, making up for everything we had to put up with and restoring our pride in the club.

Of course some of League One was utter crap before this season, but after a season like this hopefully ending up as champions, I bet we'll wipe the previous 5 seasons and look back on league one 2016-17 with as many good memories as when we won the 4th division.

Worst moment for me was losing to Huddersfield on Pens, and the best has to be today when Flecky scored.

All I know is our first season back here should have been our last. I know this is not a day to feel bitter but i think that if Evans hadn't been wrongfully been sent down, we would have most certainly got promoted at our first attempt.

A couple of cup runs were decent memories especially the win over West Ham. Other than those it has been embarrassing to be shown up by much smaller clubs under different managers.

Only good memories are cup run with Clough, and this season.
Can't say anything else was good since other incidents shadows the memories i.e. losing out to promotion to Wednesday of all teams and Evans getting locked up. Even if we had a decent season it fell so sour at the end.
Adkins/ Hammond/ Wier, these are the other reasons why its best to not look back on our time in league one.
