This Sunday sees the end of our season and an amazing two years in the Championship.

From onlookers not expecting us to invest anything nor expecting us to achieve a fat lot of anything (at least by the bitter lot on the outskirts), to two years jam packed full of many highs, fantastic football and memories to last a lifetime. This has to be one of the best periods to be a Blade.

So go on, chuck your memories in here. Preferably with photos and videos of iconic moments, the more the merrier.

Quite literally, up the Blades!

Highs and lows....

Lows: JOC's "goal" being disallowed at Boro. Couttsy breaking his leg at Burton. Last minute winner by Villa last season. Deano "giving" Leeds a goal at home this year. Millwall equalizing in last minute after Egan sent off and 2 players suffered hamstring injuries. Conceding 3 goals in 10 minutes at Villa.

Highs: Too many to list but here are some. First win against Brentford last season. 4-2 at Swillsboro of course. Away wins at WBA, Leeds and PNE. Being 3-0 up at Villa (but see above). 3-0 win at Kcom, 2-0 win v Forest and of course Saturday win v Ipswich and promotion.

I am not being a pessimist/killjoy listing the lows. They just make the highs even higher!!

Pigs away - September 2017 - never fails to bring a smile to my face. What a day !!

Aston Villa at home - September 2018 - without doubt, the finest performance I've ever seen by a Sheffield United team. In a word: Magnificent
Aye with the additional joy of Lundstram smashing Grealish

Boro @ home was immense ( if tedious) - again with the added benefit of Fleck wasting Mikel

I like a 'proper' tackle me

.

With the particular enhancements of Brooks turn & Lundstram ( legitimately) wasting Grealish

Although Boro at home was tedious as fuck the impact of the win can't be underestimated - nor can Flecks challenge on Mikel -

I like a good tackle me

Brooks’ winner at Leeds last season and Basham’s this season. Very lucky to be witness both those moments in the away end.

“Bouncing Day”.

Four goals from Leon in the 2nd half vs Hull.

So many more to mention really.

To be fair, we've come up and played an exciting type of football, the best attacking football in the division with a unique system. We've got the best team spirit in the league and a manager that everyone admires, and we're generally liked by most pundits. We've gone toe to toe with each of the bigger spenders and more than held our own, and now we're set to finish above most, if not all of them.

We've had a fantastic two seasons at this level and now we're heading out of the division at the right end.

Lovleh.

Oxford away in League 1, CW came across at the end of the match patting the badge after a 3-2 victory, it showed he really cared.

Oh and 4-1 against Villa this season, the week before my op for Prostate cancer knowing I could not get to see them for a while, the best 45 minutes in 30 years.

WBA away - February 2019 - this was when I started to believe.
Same here. I had my doubts after certain games after that, but winning at WBA was the day I truly believed it was on.

I still can't quite believe it to be honest. I've spent a truly tragic amount of time since Sunday just staring at the Championship table trying to force my brain (conditioned by 25 years of oh-so-nears) to truly accept what has just happened.

Sat in a Working Mens Club when we played Wednesday, me and my two daughters (16 and 10) were sat getting ready for the game when a christening party walked in containing about 50 rowdy Wednesday fans. The first two goals for us were a bit muted, more a family hug, but after several strongbows and a gutting feeling after the equaliser, the Duffy goal sent us mad, much to the annoyance of the others. But perhaps the highlight was the fourth goal which saw a mass exodus of the club with my youngest shouting 'where you going, its not full time yet', one guy replied 'what do girls know about football', to which my daughter replied 'More than you, I know it lasts 90 minutes'. I never saw a bloke look more dejected. That was a good day.

Match-wise, the Fulham (5-4) match was a good match, even though we lost. Beating Leeds three times, twice at theirs, will never lose its glory. The Derby matches at home were both great, particularly Sharp sticking one into an empty net on one of those hot, perfect football days with the Kop in really good voice. Looking back, beating Norwich in the last minute at home had so much more riding on it than we would have ever thought. Brentford all that time ago, first game back and wondering where we sat - Brentford would be a good yard measure of where we were. Wolves at home 'thirty quid, is all your worth'. Villa 4-1 (that Norwood looks a good buy, finally someone that can take free kicks).

It has been great journey done in only a way that we can.
