Based on a number of the replies that have been posted, Linz is probably regretting offering to help. We're all cynical about the club from time to time but why bother to comment if you don't believe that the intentions are genuine?

Surely that's exactly reason to comment. That and a little banter from those not taking it all too seriously.

Why has the cost of my season ticket gone up by £15?

Why is the bread stale?

I know the club have put on special trains and/or arranged special deals via East Midlands Trains for London away games. Would they consider doing something like the below for midweek away games where the last train back is too early?

Brentford have got it spot on for me - offer the service but withdraw it (in a very open, transparent way) if it they can't make it pay.

Not enough interest in special train

Brentford Football Club will not be running a special train to the npower League One match against Crewe Alexandra next month.
The Bees travel to Cheshire to take on Crewe on Wednesday April 10 in a match that will kick off at 7.45pm.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, spoke to train companies to try and run a special train to the match and Virgin Trains offered a direct, non-stopping, service from London Euston to Crewe.
This 536 seat train would have would cost the Club £25,000 and in order to make it financially viable, supporters would have needed to fill a minimum of 400 of those seats.
Unfortunately, fewer than 80 fans expressed an interest so the train will not run.
Brentford Supporters’ Association will be running coaches to the match and details will follow shortly.

Morning chaps

Just to let you know that there's a planned meeting this week with John Garrett with his SLO hat on this week and Foxy and I shall be in attendance.

If there are any points, questions, feedback or ideas you'd like raised on any off-pitch matters, leave us a message in this thread or drop us a PM by close-of-play on Wednesday.

If there are more than 60 months in Mr McCabes five year plan for 'In Europe' why can't we borrow one to help with the fixture back log?

Can you ask United about their website - why, when you log into your customer account is there no padlock or https to safeguard personal data (you do get the padlock/https when paying but not before)?

Are United going to send on their fuel bill to South Yorkshire Police as every time United put the undersoil heating on the coppers decide the match is off anyway due to 'health and safety' issues?

Great point ....couldn't they do the points on, say ,a rolling 3 or 4 years so therefore rewarding the fans that go to the most away games and have season tickets and also closing the gap between families ?

Oi! What about those of us for whom every home game is an away game... We want looking after as well.

You and and yours go to every match - dunno why you're moaning!

:D

Just a note to say that I passed the link to this thread on at dinnertime and the agenda has now been set (pretty much this thread in its entirety!) however, I've had some PMs through subsequently and will try get a response for those as well... whether in AOB or via email afterwards.

Cheers chaps.
