Off after 10mins for u23s. Pointing at his shin from where I was looking.

Hopefully Everton scouts were there today, if they can sign Baxter MC Nutley is a shoe in!

subbed by Tyler Smith who scores both goals. CW is cautious in bringing our young ones on.

Yeah Tyler Smith looked decent, seemed quite nippy upfront and ran his socks off. First time in a while watching the U23s, but he offered a lot upfront. Hopefully some of these lads that are impressing will get a chance.

just been on sky transfer news Handsworth Crown have offered 2 bags of pork scratchings for him
with a bag of cheese and onion crisps as an add on if he stays awake during a game

Regarding the Lavery/Wilder bust up, hopefully it's not too serious. I suspect Lavery didn't take too kindly to Wilder's hairdryer treatment after the Gills match? If so he really needs to suck it up and get on with it.

At the end of the day, managers and players have tiffs all the time so provided that a line wasn't crossed then I am sure they can kiss and make up.

Went over on his ankle and did try to play on. Looked as though he was up for this game but we'll never know

And their Pork scratchings are crap;).

Yes Tyler Smith is comfortable and has a nose for a goal. I've watched them a lot and am hopefull we will see them progress particularly when you compare them to the first team players who play with them

I get the impression McNulty is being blamed for the poor showing v Fleetwood. He didn't do a lot I agree but he was often like that before but could still find the net. He came close to scoring v Fleetwood and if that had gone in it might have been a different story - but it didn't and that's that.

I don't criticise Wilder for giving him a start. He's become frustrated with us not putting the chances away and in this situation he rolled the dice to see what he could do. He changed it at half time when it wasn't working and I think "fair enough" tbh.

McNulty could still prove his worth yet so let's not victimise him based on his first 45 minutes back in what is a new team to him.

It's not going to happen.

He's failed under every manager.

He's failed when we've sent him out on loan.

How many times can we say 'I hope he proves us wrong' before we accept that he's never going to prove us fucking wrong. I hope every toss player we have proves me wrong and turn into world beaters over night.

Jesus.

Sell him back to Scotland.

Might have to pay someone to take him off our hands?

I do. Lavery has been playing well and his goal/start ratio is better than any other striker after Billy. We scored at Walsall. We scored twice against Gills. We let in a fook load of goals.

So we leave the defence alone and drop Lavery. And we score no goals at all but ship another couple.

It's a shocker of a call from a bloke who has made virtually no obvious errors of judgement previously.

Completely and utterly the above. Unnecessary self inflicted damage by a manager unnecessarily stamping his authority on the team. IMHO.
