McCabe is the problem

And now owns two prime buildings, a hotel and a business centre BOTH of which were touted that the profits were to be spent on team strengthening (laughable though a comment that was) which he took off the hands of the club for a quid a piece. He ain't here for the love however much he claims to have been born on Alderson Road

He took those off the club at a nominal quid because he paid off the loans associated with them and funded the ongoing losses.

Do people forget some of the horrific losses we suffered year after year? These don't just magically disappear in a set of accounts, they have to be funded either from pre existing reserves or new money. There were no pre existing reserves, so KM kept increasing his loans. I'm sure this is the last thing he wanted to do, but having bought all the shares when other shareholder didn't take up their rights, he didn't have much option.

We are now in the shitty situation where SUFC owe KM far too much for him to put it down to experience and walk away, but presumably he doesn't have the cash or inclination to put more in.

Robson/Robinson spunked millions (think Gary Speed on £20k per week = £1m p.a. plus pension plus NI / Ehiogu / Naysmith / Beattie etc etc).

He gave Blackwell plenty too to waste on Henderson and Evans (£3.5m out + wages but financially nothing back).

FACT; We are still paying far too much in wages for a club in our league.

We need a couple of snookers......

Forgive me if I'm wrong, and no doubt you won't, just tell I'm a twat or something, but I was under the impression that McCabe cleared the debts and sold 50% of the club to The Prince for a shiny sixpence on the understanding that HRH would invest heavily for new players (up to £100m) in an effort to get to the Premiership.
If so why the hate mail to Mr Mc, when HRH should bankrolling the transfer market.

It were £10 million, and its gone, apparently .....................

Some good points made on this thread in places. A number of fans have said nothing will really change until McCabe moves on - something I have thought and said for a good few years. It needs fresh ideas, a fresh outlook etc. The problem is, he wont walk away as he is too intertwined with the club. Hence why the partnership with the Prince is going down the sh1tter - because its never really been this Prince's club - McCabe is still here. We are stuck in a vicious cycle.
