I've just been looking into Di Matteo's managerial record and he's notched up some very impressive stats:-
Di Matteo P135 W67 D30 L38 Pts 231 Avg 1.71 W% 50%
Encouragingly, both his sides have scored plenty of goals and almost as many away as at home.
That indicates to me that he likes to play attacking football and doesn't go down the negative "sneak a goal" route.
I'll be amazed if McCabe manages to persuade him to take us on but he's now officially gone ahead of Hill and Tisdale as my number one (realistic) choice.
