Well I liked McBurnie and gave him a hearty round of applause.

Would have him back in a heartbeat such a handful for opposition defences. Scored some big goals for us.

Anyone who thinks that McBurnie wouldn't be an improvement to our strike force wants their bumps feeling. He's head and shoulders above what we have, bar perhaps Bamford. It's gut wrenching seeing him play for another club against us when he could - SHOULD - have been playing for us.

Just playing devils advocate slightly but how would McBurnie do being played on the left midfield out of position? Do we think he would score as many goals? Although McBurnie is a good player at this level, Cannon has potential but needs to be played in his right position If we want to get the most out of him. Still scored 5 this season so far and his best spell was being played in a 2

15 goals in 41 games and a promotion to the PL off the back of it plus a season with 6 PL goals make the comparison to Brewster and Cannon ridiculous.

There are Faberge eggs better value than Rhian Brewster.

Other than the goal (which one of Seriki, Tanganga or Davies should do better for) all he did was get a card for dissent and clapped the Kop when he went off. He got marked out of the game by McGuinness ffs.

He’s a player that has turned the club down twice (once when wilder was here) after standing by him though his various idiotic episodes and frequent periods of injury. By all accounts he went to Hull for one reason only (well, £37,000 weekly reasons) but Selles has given everyone a nice scapegoat.

Some people seem to live in an alternate reality where ‘loves the club’ and ‘has character’ are more desirable than being a competent footballer.
