I have insisted to everyone he will come good at some point , but he’s actually poor isn’t he ?

Doesn’t even get the odd goal anymore and I actually thought he hampered sharps game yesterday.Mcgoldrick frustrates the life out of me with his finishing, but he actually offers some smart link up play.We all hammered moose and rightly so , but even he offered more in his cameos.

£20 million ? He doesn’t look worth 2 million.

McBurnie and Sharp are too similar to play together, they're both backs to goal, hold up strikers. One or the other plays, either with NDiyi and MGW playing into them, or Jebbison alongside, but not together.
Sharp is one of those ‘ball in the back of net’ strikers. We could do with someone else helping out!

I don't think there's anything new about it. McBurnie's been here 2.5 years and scored about 5 or 6 goals.
He's been inconsistent and poor with little-to-no output.

Weird innit

I always looked at Hecky as a coach not a manager - maybe he’s both….

league one Wes, C3PO, Norgood, all gone from figures of ridicule to important first team players since Hecky took over

Sharps scoring regularly, Bogle looks like the leash is off, even Baldock seems to have found some form

Guess we have to have some certainties in life - death, taxes, McG’s inability to hit the net and McB’s all fart and no shit.

Haven’t seen the highlights of yesterday yet and had to rely on Talksport 2 commentary but they were of the opinion that McBurnie was lucky to stay on the pitch for an elbow late on which he got booked for.

Says it all that we don’t really know what his strengths are after 2.5 years here.

Second start in the league in 5/6 months because he has been injured ill/injured and people are expecting a hat-trick from him

He was ok yesterday in a game where him and sharp were feeding on scraps

He certainly did more than his Lord and savior William of Sharp yesterday, but it wasn't a game for strikers yesterday and id have subbed them both after 60 minutes

Fallowfield Blade I respect your opinion and always will, but sometimes you do talk bollocks. Billy is on fire give him the chance and he will score, I'm not against Mcburnie but at the moment he couldn't score in Amsterdam with a 5 euro hooker

Im talking about yesterday just pointing out that they had very similar performances and contrasting the post towards both of them on here

Sharp has been good recently and been banging them in correct

He's just not very good I'm afraid, sad but true. You could give him another 3 years and I've no faith he'd score many or improve at all.

You may be right , but i will reserve judgement until he has had a proper run in the team which he hasn't had in the championship this season anyway

In the Premier league he looked good IMO

Mousset got two in a game earlier in the season when he hadn't been starting much due to being ill/injured/fat lazy waster/injured/injured for about 26 years so lack of starts isn't much of an excuse.

He was alright yesterday but when he's feeding off scraps he needs to be sharper, attack half chances and make things happen rather than waiting for things to fall in his lap.

Like I said Fallowfield blade you are looking at the narrow picture, if billy and Mcburnie had a 10 game run in the team who would you think would score more goals 🤔. Mcburnie is a cart horse 🐎 plenty of endeavour but nothing on the end,

Put it this way i would back Brewster / Mcburnie to score more than 8 in 30 from open play if they had a full season playing every minute

Have you tried finding a hooker for €5 anywhere in Europe let alone Amsterdam !!

Not a hat trick . Just more than one goal a season pal .

The problem is that a 36 year old bloke is 10x fitter than McBurnie and Brewster so the chances of them getting to 30 games in a season is minimal and you’ll never have to stand by your words.

Don't disagree not many players at 36 fitter than Sharp

He does need a rest though as we are asking for him to get injured if we continue to play him 90 minutes 3 times a week

He definitely needs a rest, if only we had another player who could lead the line and score actual goals!

On what basis would either of those 2 players outscore the greatest scorer in championship history?

McBurnie never looks like scoring. I know you love repeating your 'barn door' Billy joke, but if he misses chances it's because he gets on the end of them. McBurnie saunters around outside the box drawing fouls. Literally adds nothing else.

And whilst Brewster was starting to show signs, there isn't a substantial body of evidence to say he'd outscore Sharp. In fact, the most recent evidence says the opposite.
