I'd love to see both Goals scored and XGoals over the past few years for minutes he is on the pitch and minutes he is off.

It wouldn't suprise me if both are double when he doesn't play.

Gary Madine, Darius Henderson, Richard Cresswell, and even Ade Akinbiyi all similar type of player, all significantly cheaper, yet all contributed more to the team both in terms of goals and all round input.

I would really love him to turn it round for us, but it’s hard to see it happening. There is something about the big galoot that makes me think (hope) he can give us some of that effort he had early on for us.

Sadly I can imagine in years to come him being interviewed on ‘Undr the Cosh” podcast, saying how great it was at United, regaling us with stories of piss-ups and fights whilst the imbecile hosts cackle and guffaw. He is the wrong generation to roll out the story about Billy Whitehurst and Vinnie Jones fighting Owls fans at Henry’s, but you never know. He will then say he can’t quite put his finger in why it didn’t work out here, and we will all listen and think “what a great lad, a reyt Blade, he obviously loved us”.

The issue with Moose is that by keeping him around we'd be implying that his unprofessionalism is acceptable. He took the piss with his approach to fitness and conditioning.
