Im not entirely convinced.

Im not one of the many that cheers raucously when our big CF wins a header that goes straight to the feet of an opponent.

Hands up anyone who is ?

Honestly, neither am I but I thought in very difficult circumstances last night he did a lot of things that we needed him to do. Sharp was the same.

There's always the argument that they haven't scored or they've missed chances so they've not had a good game, however I think with the way we set up last night he did what was required and a bit more. I could mention every little thing he did well (the headed control and 2nd and 3rd touch near the dugouts stood out) and badly (falling over near the JSS and kicking the ball out with no challenge).

However I just think he played well overall and think with him and Sharp last night they both deserve plaudits without the 'but'.

To be clear, he is not and will never be the best striker we've ever had, but I think he'll turn into a decent player and he's showing steps towards this.

Thought McBurnie and Sharpe had a good game with the former possibly one of his best performances. If I was CW I would be worried why my strikers are not scoring. Last two matches had 4 "Strikers" up front at different times in the two striking positions and not one could convert a chance. Thank god for goal scoring midfielders. Think where we would be if our strikers could actually score a goal. Can't see them getting above 10 never mind 20 this season and its not for the want of trying.

Bloke that sits behind me never stopped complaining about him, lads on same row weren’t agreeing with him and nobody around him was, he didn’t understand the silence meant we were seeing a different game to him..

I thought he’s not put a foot wrong against the best team I’ve seen here this season (including Liverpool) and he would have been offside was my thought had he connected..

If we play like that the next three games we’ll be over the line by the end of feb..

He’s gonna only get better as you all say..
