It's hugely irresponsible that 2 strikers with a combined fee of around 30m are both unavailable so frequently due to their personal choices.
Neither give a toss, both quite happy to pick up their ginormous pay check for going through the motions and putting on the minimum amount of effort.

If only Wilder would come back and try to sign some of his great signings.

That's the thing re the pay check.

I appreciate you can't fine players who are injured but if they are unavailable as a sportsman due to other reasons then why do we have to pay them? They aren't fulfilling their side of the contract.

If Mousset is below the acceptable level of fitness for a professional then he shouldn't be paid as one.

I'm not getting into the vax/anti-vax thing but as a sportsman it's McBurnie's job to be available. If he chooses to not be vaccinated and this means his availability is going to be compromised then ask him to stay home as much as possible or amend his lifestyle during the season so as not to compromise his availability. It's not a big ask of someone on 28k per week for 3-4 more months.

It's the fact he's a footballer. It's not as if he can be asymptomatic and just work from home like an office worker. He's basically taking money from the club for a service he isn't providing. He shouldn't be getting paid if that is the case.

McBurnie couldn’t start his fucking car, which is a good job since he got himself banned the cretin.

And Wilder always emphasised how a player's attitude and character were carefully assessed prior to signing. Something in this process clearly went badly wrong!
