For me McBurnie has improved immensely since joining us in the summer. He's fitter and stronger. The goal against Brighton was pure class. He's linking the play up really well as he's winning a lot of aerial duels. Still needs to work on finishing with his head though... Aside from the glancing header against Leicester this is a bit of a weakness (well not the strength you think it would be) in his game as it stands.
I find this quite interesting, as I expected more headed goals because the highlight reel of goals for Barnsley and Swansea seemed to show that dinky headed finishes was something of a trademark. I wonder if it’s lack of service for headed chances, stronger defending against aerial crosses or something else? We don’t just do toss it in the box crosses, we try to play in behind and keep it on the floor so maybe he just hasn’t had many high crosses to attack.

It's only a slight criticism as I've been really impressed with his progression as a player. In fact it's more an observation... I've observed on a few occasions now McBurnie rising highest and getting to the ball. Only for his effort to fall safely with next to no power on it... Or the effort being nowhere near the mark.at all.
I'm sure this will improve... Just as the rest of his game has!

Yeah yeah. Just admit it. You clicked on a link saying ‘you wouldn’t believe what Shirley Bassey looks like now’.
I clicked one that said, “her husband divorced her after seeing these inappropriate photos”.

It took me 33 trillion clicks to find the inappropriate photos. But it became evident eventually: Not one of them featured her doing the cooking, washing or ironing!

Imagine what he could be worth if he bought some full length socks.

Hold on to him for another season and he could be worth £50m. He is improving at a rate of knotts, Wilder has clearly clipped his ear and he is responding. Even if he doesn't listen and learn from the messiah we get close to his transfer fee back, but me thinks Wilder will turn him into top performer.

One of his best assets seems to be his team ethic. Appears to fit in really well, always seems to be at the centre of goal celebrations and popular with the other players. A bit of a work horse as well. Barnsley fans loved him
