McB out for season

McBurnie's not had a good season, but very few have and I think in a team that has so little possession and clear cut chances we can give McBurnie some slack. He has missed some presentable chnces, West Ham at home springs to mind and his headers have a knack of finding the keeper too much, but his overall game is good, he links play well and next season he'll get chances to score and I think if he stays then he'll be a big player next season for us.

His first season showed what he can do in a team playing with more confidence and he had some crcking games last season, sadly like most of the team his form has dropped this season, but the forwards do rely on service and there's been so little of that this season as I said.
6 goals last season. Thank fuck the team was ' doing well.'

A goal every six appearances, closer to one in four when looking at goals per ninety. Pretty respectable for a first season in the top flight and much better than some who cost a lot more.

Iheanacho cost Leicester £25 million and scored 8 goals in 71 PL games in his first three seasons.
It's only this season he's started scoring regularly and he's played in a much better team than ours in the that time.
A Leicester fan at work was only saying a year ago how much of a crap signing he'd been.

Labour are in need of a good few spin doctors at this time.

A few of you feckin lot would do well to email your CVs 😀😉.

UTB
I had hopes he'd eventually turn it around, but so far this season I've had to admit you're right he's atrocious. I never seen a striker before who has such a powder puff shot on him.
This time next year he could be top of the Championship scoring chart 😉

Leicester is a weird one. They're basically set-up to play with Vardy up top and until this season anyone replacing him had to mimic him. Rodgers seems to have changed the way they play to allow them to use two strikers and it's obviously working.

A peculiar photo of a random point of the game, a blurry photo of Didzy with his eyes closed. That's all there was on his Instagram.

Nothing else mentioned about the match, no "well done lads", no "happy for the win".

But there is post after post about the boxing and the bloody UFC. Think this kid needs to remember what sport he plays and who pays his wages.

Sooner he fucks off to Swansea the better imo, I've defended him plenty of times but he really is just a shithouse rat isn't he.

He's a...

Leeds/Scottish/Swansea/American/chess playing/pornstar chasing/coke dealer glorifying/street swag rudeboy...

He just seems so bloody confused. Feel sorry for the lad, needs a week in the peaks to clear his head.

for some footballers the sport they get paid to play isn't their favourite sport, they just happen to be good at it and get paid a decent wage.

nothing wrong with him posting photos of the ufc or boxing on his instagram stories.

McBurnie is a young lad with a lot of mates in that scene.

This just seems to be a post attacking him cos he doesn't post how unbelievably lucky he is to play for united.

He retweets and posts stuff from the united twitter account.

Agreed. But he also posts far more about Swansea and Rangers than us. I’ve never got the impression from either his performances or social media that his heart is in it with us. Not sure why as we gave him a great opportunity.

I've been in my job over 10 years there are other companies that do the same thing as my work does that im more of a fan of. I get paid well by my employer and always put the effort it even if I'm not a massive fan of theirs.

my point being just because he doesn't have the same perceived enthusiasm for the team as we do doesn't mean he needs fuck off

Thank you, exactly my point.

James Miller is a lifelong Leeds fan, do you see him posting..

"great last minute equaliser boys, MOT WALL"

Because he's a professional.

Was Billy posting about Blades every week when he was at Southampton, or Scunthorpe?

Its unprofessional and he's constantly shown, through his attitude and behaviour, that SUFC is about 4th or 5th on his list of priorities.

Get shut.

No idea what your career is but I can bet its very different to football mate.

Its not like people up and down the country have a favourite butcher, baker or candlestick maker...that they banter each other about and claim bragging rights over...that underpins their mental health and defines the community they live in!

You'd be surprised to be honest!
