from what ive heard, its seemingly true that Bristol city have activated the release clause of biggest rivals top goalscorer. but if it happens its going to be fun in bristol as them 2 dont like each other as it is without this to stoke the fire

Don't get this at all.

He shows loyalty in the summer and signs a new contract only to leave on deadline day in January.... to Bristol City.

If it's only a 300k release clause why has it taken someone this long to sign him? Anybody could sign him now and sell him for £2m+ in the summer if they wanted to. He'll have plenty of options. So why choose Bristol City, especially if loyalty is important to him? He could've got a better move in the summer let alone now.

I bet the Rovers fans are absolutely seething.

He's not particularly pacy but is more a 'fox in the box'. A good player but not been able to breakthrough at BCFC and can't see him being a replacement for Sharp or Evans.

Considering his career path through non league, he's done very well to reach L1 but that may be him upper level.

We don't need another Billy Sharp type, as obviously we already have a decent poacher in Billy. We need someone who has pace and can open up defences to play off Billy. Taylor won't do that. Hopefully Ched can do that.

I think Taylor is a bit quicker than Billy but I agree he's not a perfect fit for what we need.
