Delighted for them all, but for Matt in particular.
Boxing and Cricket stars come from a fairly small pool.
There's probably only between three and five boxers is any weight division that can be world champion, but then again they do have to become one of those three or five in the first place.

Because of the type of game golf is, there are a thousand golfers at least who on their day can qualify and win a Golf Major. Even amateurs

To stay within the top 100 world golfers is a massive achievement because of the number of golfers that are more than capable of winning tournaments

Did the fact he served with a Calloway and yelled "fore" not give it away..?
Surely served with a Ping would have been better??

Cracking post win interview very measured and as down to earth as they come - Brilliant and a Blade to boot Get in !!

Feel so proud of him, he comes across as such a nice down to earth bloke. I love it that he references being a Blade at every opportunity. Think both him and Joe Root really shine a good light on our club, both hugely talented but humble and genuine. They were never going to be Wednesday fans!
If Matt had been a pig he would never have hit the bunker on the last hole, chipped onto the green within 6 inches of the hole, got a birdie and won by 2 shots………… if Carling did Wednesdayites !! 😆😆

There's a lager identity crisis on this forum

Amazing win for Fitzy last night, played fantastic and some real clutch shots on 15 and especially 18 to get the win,I have to admit I had tears of joy and to win £330 made it even better⛳💰😀👍

He's a good un, sheffielder, a blade, and to upset shoutbox users, a mini stickball hitter.
Absolutely superb performance.
Matt can be proud, so can us the Steel city.

Wonder if he might fumble the trophy of the top deck of the bus.

Really was fantastic. Put a huge smile on my face and gave me a very big lift for today mentally wise, and will do for the rest of the week

They are waiting for the ginger fella to return to coronation street to top us
Oh no they are not apparently someone asked if they had any celebrities that supported them. One of them came up with this little list Michael Vaughn Former England Test Captain of the 2005 Ashes Side, David Blunkett Former MP, The Late Joe Ashton MP and Rick Savage Drummer of Rock Legends ' Def Leppard '.

Oh and the customary side splitting comments when we are naming a stand after him.

Even their 'celebrities' are all from the distant past!

That Dalton Smith has got potential to be the most famous pig fan but he has got some way to go yet to even reach Kell Brook level. I suppose they could say Arctic Monkeys are pigs. But no doubt about it blades are a class above

They couldn't even get that right - Rick Allan is the drummer in Def Leppard.........Also, including a dead MP who nobody outside of this area has heard of is really scraping the barrel. 🤣
