Thought the number 3 for Colchester had a great game at left back yesterday, looked strong, quick and comfortable on the ball, also wasn't afraid to go forward.

Wouldn't cost the earth I'd imagine either...

Good shout I think. He had a good game against us at BL as well didn't he?

We need to be looking for a new left back without a doubt but I think it's one position that'll have to wait until the summer.

I think all positions will wait until next season as so many will not be re-signed and there is a faint glimmer still of the play offs so we might, just might need to build a division two team.

hmmm - suppose everyone can make a mistake - I didn't go and not seen the game yet.

from skysports - "But Sheffield United took a 20th-minute lead through Billy Sharp, who squeezed a low shot past goalkeeper Jake Kean after Matt Briggs had failed to deal with George Long's long clearance."

I was thinking this yesterday too when watching, I remember him being highly rated at Fulham so I am surprised he's ended up at colchester. He'd definitly be an upgrade on Harris

Great shout. Tall as well, always useful set-piece wise.

Ha ha, saw that just after I'd posted! I suppose it will show he will fit in seamlessly with our defence :)

Keith and Jonathon Buchan were impressed on the commentary and he's a Guyana international too! As others have said, I think left back isn't are biggest weakness, although it remains a position we need to strengthen. like almost all of them! Briggs is an example of the type we should be going for though, young and not expensive, you wouldn't have thought.
