Thats been this football club's problem in the last 3 play off finals.

Just annoys me when Simmo plays it out to one of the defence, they keep the ball between them looking for a pass then it goes to Hill............... poorly placed hopeful diagonal ball everytime.

He does seem ok at defending - which I suppose is his main job - but he just doesn't fit in with our ne style play and team.

What happened to Williams, he seemed much better from what I've seen of him (although still no LJF).

At times I've been apoplectic about Matt Hill but over the last few weeks I've started warming to him. His every touch of the ball, either with his foot or head goes about 50 yards in the air, but unlike the other three left backs at the club he can actually defend.

If he was a player in a Warnock or Blackwell team it wouldn't actually worry me that he's awful with the ball as he can do his primary job in the team, but with a Wilson team I don't think he fits in with the style of play.

But agreed with most on here - he played much better his last game against Stevenage. I had to look twice to see if it really was Hill...

Interesting to see what pans out and hopefully another game like that this Sat, he might actually earn his stripes (y'know, the Red & White sort)...

Why should we sign him though? Do we really need him?

We have signed Lecsinel Jean-Francois and Marcus Williams this season and we also currently have Andy Taylor... So by next season comes do we really need to add another left back to the team even if we let go of Andy Taylor?
