Jab was never to eradicate the virus it was just to keep people out of hospital. just like the flu jab

that the biggest misconception about all this. & weirdly all this is protect the unvaccinated because people with the vaccine can still get the virus. just like you can still get the flu with flu jab. but vaccination chance of ending up in hospital is reduced by 80% but unvaccinated people have the same risk as they did in 2020

For that particular one because the EFL don't govern the FA Cup. For the wider question of other teams who haven't been able to call of league games, no idea.

I think you're absolutely right on that, well said. Looking t the stats, the vaccine has clearly achieved that.

However, what still bothers me, is the villification of the unvaccinated, the vast majority of which are in a demographic which is at very low risk of serious illness caused by Covid (yes I expect we all know someone in their 70s who is unvaccinated but I mean the vast majority are under 50, and yes i know plenty of people under 50 die of Covid but talking generally here) - so we're mostly villifying people for choosing not to take a vaccine that would make them unlikely to be hospitalized by a disease that they're anyway extremely unlikely to be hospitalized by.
