Both subs, after the initial impact they had for the goal, were poor for me. Trying too much, holding on to the ball too long and awful ball retention.

The substitutions got us an equaliser and momentum but then they both made a fair few bad decisions.

I think Lundstram did OK. He might be no Coutts but is without doubt the only player to take on that Coutts role. We have to accept that he has different strengths/weaknesses. Our build up play was mainly good today, but Birmingham defended well in large numbers. Let’s take a reality check, we are playing well in the Championship. The gloom from some disappoints me.

Ride these injuries out apart from Coutts and we can only get stronger normally we attack well down both flanks but tonight everything went left onwards and upwards!

I thought Lundstram played well, pushing for man of the match with Clarke and Fleck for me. He sprayed some good passes out and moved the ball a lot quicker than he has done in some other games. Our weakness was at right wing back, we really need Baldock back ASAP because as much a Bash tries, we don’t have the attacking threat down the right that we should have until Brooks comes on.

Lundstrum was poor in the first half.

He gave the ball away nearly everytime he tried to pass forwards and went too long too soon.

He imoroved massively 2nd half and was one of our better players. He won't have the same influence as Coutts so you need to disregard that. He needs to push forward more when allowed but I like that he moved to give the centre halfs an option in the second half - he didn't go missing like he has in some games.

I still think its the position we need to strengthen in January.

i thought it was an ok performance compared to recent. i think we are currently in that tricky spell that we were all expecting to endure at some point. for me 1st half we persisted with too many aerial balls i could tell that didnt work within 1st 15mins. as all they were doing getting headed back by birmingham defence & our most threatening chances came when we were keeping it on the deck but even despite that we were unlucky again because still by far the better team its just another reminder you have to be clinical in the championship as wasted chances will cost you points. its was attack v defence for 99% of the game. which was why conceding was so irritating Birmingham done nothing all half, steve cotterill made Jose Mourinho v Liverpool look gung ho & 1st attempt which was a brilliant shot they have we are 1-0 down.

looking back at highlights blackman looked like he shouldve had a stronger hand on it. this not me saying drop him but i dont understand why blackman was brought straight back because thats football blackman got a shot because of moores injury. so moore getting a shot because of blackman injury is just fair. but we are 3rd & no one at match or on tv, can say that they werent entertained during that game. always 100% right to very end
