It really fucking is.never seen so mnay in game comments.. must be utter wank
Oopswatch it be 0-0
Listening to his interview, think he might rotate a bit tonight. Johnson, Baldock, Washington, Clarke and hopefully Fleck in for Stevens, Freeman, Sharp, McGoldrick and Lundstram.
And everyone was wrong!!You can tell the radio Sheffield commentator is new: "Billy Sharp is coming on, will it be Clark or Washington to come off?"
Wouldn't you rather watch the match instead?
And everyone was wrong!!
He was defending a free kick what do you expect. You said he was lazy, he's not. Now you're changing tac. He's so lazy that he just tackled their left sided middy on the edge of our box.
Thought the midfield trio of Duffy, Norwood and Fleck were all very poor. Strange that all three of them had their worst game in ages all at the same time. Washington looked very limited, Johnson had pace but not much else and Clarke wore gloves.
And so it came to passwatch it be 0-0
He was defending a free kick what do you expect.
Rubbish wum attempt but for those that didn't go I will counter your 'views'
Duffy had a very good game. So did Norwood until around 15 to go. Fleck was ok but coming back from injury. Clarke did plenty of running about and closing down. He's just never in the right place to score.
Johnson put some excellent balls in and had some very pacy attacking runs down the wing. Fans moan when we don't put the ball in early enough from the wings but even when Johnson did just that tonight there were no strikers there. Again moan and groan from folk around me.
Norwood was obviously trying to hit the front post on some of the corners but you still get Muppets having a go at him for not beating the first man. We tried to mix the corners up. The attacking players were not getting into the right areas all night long.
Norwood had his worse match for but it was by no means very poor. He hit about 3 misplaced passes but you fail to note everything else he hit was perfect.
Thought Washington did just ok and gave Billy a much needed rest tonight.
Henderson was great again when called upon and Bash was my motm just beating Duffy.
You are obviously on the wind up and love posting negative crap.
We move on to a poor Preston side on Satdi and I hope we start putting some chances away.
Excuse me? Just on the wind up?
No wind up at all. I was posting what I saw and if that is “negative crap” then you might want to open your eyes during the game or at least start to respect other people’s opinions.
Duffy was poor. He spent most of the game on the wing for some reason and had little to no influence on the game. Probably the best of the middle three.
Fleck was also very poor, especially by his normally high standards. Whether he was recovering from injury or not does not change this fact. He flitted in and out of the game and had no real impact. Looked physically and mentally below par.
Norwood put in by far the worst performance he has in a Blades shirt and that was absolutely not limited to the last 15 minutes as you state. If you think that he played well for 75 minutes and only put in 3 poor crosses then I am afraid you are living in a dream world that has no basis in reality. He misplaced pretty much every long AND short ball for most of the second half and either hit the first man or cleared everybody with EVERY corner and wasted each free kick he took by generally over hitting it. It was a very strange and somewhat inexplicable performance from him.
Johnson showed some great athleticism getting down the line and put in a couple of decent crosses in the first half but faded badly. Didn’t seem to posses the ability to beat an aponent or find the right pass when not charging an 100mph.
Leon worked hard but yet again showed absolutely zero strikers instinct when presented with a chance to score. Obvious that he has no confidence and doesn’t seem willing to even take a shot on anymore. Whether continuing to play him hoping that he will eventually get himself back into scoring form is the right approach remains to be seen.
You can sit there with your rose tinted glasses all you like but that unfortunately doesn’t change what the rest of us had to sit through on the pitch last night and it wasn’t pretty.
