So the final away game of the season has arrived and it's sure to be made into something of a carnival atmosphere by the travelling Blades at MK Dons. Arguably it's the best possible destination for our final game due to the generous ticket allocation. An allocation however which could have been increased with better planning, as the demand is certainly there. The result is certainly secondary to the event today IMHO hence no need for a beamback, however we are still very much in the hunt for 100 points, and seemingly this is the last(?) hurdle. MK's form is fairly erratic recently though they have had some good wins over some difficult opponents during the last few weeks. Sat in 12th they're season has been over for some time, but they too will want to savour their last home game of the season....
Anyway...
Any team news?
Hanson on the bench?
Carruthers given a start against his former club?
Otherwise it's surely unchanged?
Bound to be a lot of Blades fans in the home sections, but I'm not sensing any form of aggressiveness from the home fans. I guess that in some ways reflects the nature of their fans, though in this case it is actually a good thing. Hopefully our lot behave though, and enjoy the day with everyone rather than ruining for anyone. Leave it to our lads to ruin MK's day on the footballing side instead with a twitchy 2-1 Blades win.
As ever safe journey guys, and hopefully there'll be a tribute to big Ugo who passed away yesterday.
