MATCH DAY THREAD: Barnsley v The Mighty Blades

Despite the dreadful performance, we've still created two clear goalscoring opportunities. Barnsley are crap they're just working a lot harder than us at the moment. We can still beat them if we turn up 2nd half, which I imagine Wilder will make sure of.
 



It looked like most of the Utd side had just rolled out of bed 10 mins before the kick off. Fuk knows what they thought they were doing. It almost looked like they were just going through the motions and just expecting things to happen for us.

Only bright side so far is that we are still in the game after that first half 'performance'.
 
Up there with the worst performances this season. Casual and sluggish.

In fairness they're playing well and look dangerous going forward and they're pressing well but we seem so laboured.

Biggest 45 minutes of the season so far coming up.

No wins in 4 at this stage of the season isn't a team storming into the play offs despite some good performances.

3 points or bust today imho. Turn this around and could be a huge boost.

Btw wtf was all that about Blades fighting amongst themselves on the concourse before kick off?
 
Pedestrian all over the pitch. Lundstrom gives the ball away so much. Evans oh dear !

They look fresher and more up for it.

Very frustrating watching him first half.
 
We need to score early this half if we want to win the game
 
Jesus, our finishing is woeful again, some great balls across box and we need ten touches to get a shot off.... Come on, these are there for taking
 



Thank fuck for that. Let’s keep going as Barnsley can’t take this pressure.
 
Great goal, if we keep it going we should win comfortably... What a weird turn around in the last 10 mins, like they've all woken up!
 
The quality of our crossing continues to be abysmal. So many excellent opportunities are lost through appalling final balls. I don’t think we have one player who can cross consistently.
 
Thought Clarke had blown another one on one there... get in there! Let’s keep the pressure up
 
Barnsley can’t handle the extra pressure that we have applied since half time. No idea why we started the game so lathergicaly but are playing well now.
 
Could understand the lethargy if they were playing in the 41 degrees it is here!!!
 
Definitely need a third as don’t want to get caught with the sucker punch again
