Managers position

Hi again Blades, Albion fan here if you don't remember me!

I'm afraid to say I could see this coming. By the sounds of it Barny Sornob has torn yet another fanbase apart, some saying give him time, others want him out.

The exact same thing happened at the Albion, and let me tell you it wasn't pretty.

Lack of motivation, picking his "drinking buddies", lack of fitness and sharpness, and general tactical insanity are just a few of Robson's "qualities". Unfortunately for you guys it looks like he's learned nothing.

How on Earth he has managed to mess up with a squad as good as yours I'll never know.

I know there is ill feeling between our clubs after the Battle of Bramall Lane, but I truly hope you get rid of that waster as soon as possible. I'd rather see you lot in the Prem with us than the likes of Wigan and Bolton.

Good luck for the rest of the season (apart from when you visit The Hawthorns of course!), hope you pick it up.

Boing Boing!

SHEFFIELD United winger Stephen Quinn has urged fans to lay-off new manager Bryan Robson ahead of tonight's home game with Cardiff City.
Robson, who replaced the club's long-serving manager Neil Warnock in the summer, is under growing pressure to improve results after a slow start to life at Bramall Lane.

With only two wins from the first eight games, the Blades are in danger of tumbling into the Championship relegation zone if they lose tonight but Quinn says talk of sacking Robson is simply 'ridiculous'.

"We didn't really expect to be in this position and everyone at the club is working hard to put things right," he said. "But it's ridiculous to hear people calling for the gaffer's head at this stage of the season. It's silly to talk like that.

"The fans are getting impatient – and we are getting frustrated too – but the fans just need to relax because we will get things right and we all need to pull together."

We will soon see if they are going to put it right - hope they do - but will need massive improvement

Barny Sornob

Thats cheered me up. :D

Anyway Lloydy our fans have always been split especially when Warnock was in charge.

  Right, I said I'd give him 10 games to settle in but for fooks sake it looks like he's so far out of his depth its untrue!

We're leaking goals like there's no tomorrow, without JB we'd be in an even worse predicament than we are now! This fookin squad should just about pick itself after the length of time its been together - there hasn't really been that many new additions has there?! Plus they were supposed to be quality additions!!!!!!!!!

Losing at home in most cases is, on the whole, unexpected. Sometimes you accept the draw and a defeat is a rare occurrence - its just the complete inability of us to hang on to a lead on far too many occasions this season against teams we should be beating, who'd have thought that the opening game of the season would set the tone?

I know there is always a general air of expectation about immediate returns to the Prem but you still gotta win the games and earn promotion first. Even at this stage of the season we cannot afford to be losing so many goals! Maybe my rant is premature, yes I should be at the game but work commitments prevented it.

Although the last 10 mins have been exciting the flip side is we deserve fook all for conceding 3 goals at home - massive credit to the lads for turning it back round though.

I'm pissed off, disappointed, angry and generally fed-up that our Beloved Blades are being made to look mugs - I know the players must take part of the blame but the BULK of the blame lies at the the door of the management.

:rant:Rant Over

:osorry!

Lol. I guess all fans are split over managers at some point, some of ours were split over Sir Gary Megson, and there's still even some that are intent on not giving Tony Mowbray a chance.

I would say that over time the split won't be as bad for your fans - eventually you will ALL know that Barny is out of his depth!

We did play some decent stuff at times and also put a lot more effort in, but our defence really does look atrocious. At 3-1 down it looked like it was more likely to finish 4 or 5-1 - we were pressing to get the goal but they looked dangerous every time they got the ball. I know we were chasing the game but they were breaking with pace and we had players sauntering around.
Having watched Morgan and Cahill last night I think we're really struggling. Any sort of movement from the strikers and they're all at sea. They seem to pass players on without actually telling other defenders that they're passing them on.
The poor defence must be contributing to the apparent lack of confidence throughout the whole team
