Next one comes in for Yeovil away following Morgan looking after the team at Tranmere the previous week.

Following the the shambles after the January window and our poor league position the next change will be for Huddersfield away so we can hopfully get things together for the piggery two weeks later.

Any one care to raise me?

Is this what the release of the fixtures makes us feel like these days?

for you obviously, this negativity isn't going to help. Are you one of the people who boo at home games if not winning at half time and get on the players backs at every misplaced pass/hoof? Stay away please next year if so. Would rather have 8000 positive & passionate supporters at the lane rather than 16000 with half booing and directing abuse towards the team, wilson & mccabe. Get behind the lads and lets make it a season to remembers. Cheer up... who knows you might have reason to change that name come xmas!

If the Yeovil game is around 2 months after the start of the season, then that's about right for me. I said two months, I'm sticking with two months.

In my humble opinion, he wont hit the ground running and he'll be up against it from day one. McCabe will take a stand and defend him, but ultimately he'll be out the door.

Another manager gone................. yes and another season wasted! Oh and a situation that was totally avoidable imho.

Nice one Kev!

But hey.....................................we're all Blades aren't we, hey Kev?

He can hit the ground running but he will need McCabe to back him with funds, if he doesn't Wilson is toast.

I don't see it like that at all, i believe any real test will come well into the season when we have a settled side well in the top half ready for a promotion challenge. Wilson will leave in a few years when we are in danger of going back down to league 1.

I think you are too optimistic DP. I suspect we will start with an unimpressive whimper - continue for a couple of months grabbing the odd point and the odd win here and there - be half way about mid season and fizzle towards the end like the Pigs did and finish well below the play offs.

There is nothing happening whatsoever that indicates anything to the contrary.
No departures, no signings, nothing! Not that you said it DP but why would anyone expect us to romp Div 3 under such circumstances?

We will be the scalp everyone wants - doubling the pressure so don't think it will be easy by any stretch.

I will be amazed if we have any level of success this season considering DW is changing the squad and hte style of play. It will not bear fruit overnight and there will be many a night of the long knives on Radio Pig FH to be witnessed.

Last thing I want is another Manager merry go round but Big Blade has laid the foundation for this to be so with his appointment. Can't see the fans giving him "a couple of months grabing points".
We are going to be playing Brentford and Walsall and not winning one of those games especially if coupled with losses at Oldham and/or Hartlepool and the writing will be on the wall for Wilson.
What will be sad will be seeing Blade against Blade in the stands.
