If anyone finds they cannot go to the Man Utd game now can you please PM me as I am looking for 2 tickets as I haven't been able to purchase tickets as of yet and now only 250 tickets remain from tomorrow. Thanks in advance. :)

I still need to get mine as without a season ticket or membership this year. I wonder what time in the morning tomorrow I'll have to get to the lane to queue up...
 
If you're going don't forget your tin-hats.

Van Gaal will pick a strong team as he's desperate to get his "Fantastic New Start" up and running.

We've a much more important game against Wigan on the Tuesday after. I think we'll rest a few and so we should. Big call on the manager and he has already said we have to do all the travelling fans justice.

I hate cup games!! They get in the way. Baaah.:(:mad:

He also mentioned us on the match of the day last night.
So you don't go to them and did not attend on any of the recent cup runs then?

I get interested at quarter final stage to actually travel to games but each game is a four hour round trip.

When intending to gain promotion I sincerely believe cup games get in the way of keeping fitter, less injuries and suspensions. I resented the dual level of performance in the Clough era.

Never bothered with the cup since the mid-60's, saw loads of success before then though. Must have got a bit complacent with it. When we get entrenched in mid -Premier League then the cups will be the chance of a trophy I suppose.;)
 
With people panicking and using peoples season tickets that aren't being used I can only see a handful being on sale tomorrow and gone within 15 mins.

When is Old Trafford not a sell out?

They have 55k season tickets. Then have about a million people wanting a ticket (no exaggeration) + away fans.

All home tickets go.
 
Thought we had about 250 left and there are only single seats in with Man U fans.
 
Anyone go down to the Lane this morning for general sale?
 



If you want to go in the home end, some Man Utd fans sell their seats for the odd game if they cant make it. We've been before doing that and think you can find them on twitter if that's your game!
 
FATTYFOULKE I didn't think ticket prices was to bad to be honest I paid about 37 quid for mine. I have paid 20 pounds to go to Wigan so didn't think 37 was to bad.

Just looked on thetrainline and it says last train is about 10.20pm from Manchester Piccadilly. Think there's even a later one from Manchester Oxford Street.
 
Been down the ticket office today, there were a few on general sale this morning but they sold out by 10am
 
Taxi between 4 won't cost that much more than the train - 80-90 quid maybe?
