There should have been 3 penalties for us today, ManC gets kept jumping on our players' shoulders and Battenburg was CRAP today which is what I feared the worst when I heard his name announced.

Likewise Tonge is too lightweight, Webber looks too disinterested at times. Squinny was excellent again though, anybody know what happened to Geary?

What on earth are keenzy and B4E on? Give me one reason why he was poor today? Both him and jags were very good today.

Tonge was by far the best midfielder on the pitch or for us at least, name me how many times he gave it away? He ran at players (until hulse took it off him) and looked out most creative outlet. Ok he should shoot more but he has just come back from 7 weeks out.

Keith Edwards was singing his praises today and quite rightly, people expect him to be like he was 3 years ago. He is in a different side, different role and is a different player. A player who for some mental reason has to put up with certain cretins blaming him for every defeat which he takes part in.

i for once agree wi sharpy!! tonge in the second half looked the only wanting to get the ball don and pass it wi the exception being squinny. we was unlucky not to win this game by two or three goals but we havent tuck the chances we was given.

We should have won by a couple of goals for def.
We failed ourselves by not passing properly and trying to go over the top. Distin won nearly all his headers against Keef and the only player that really won anything geader wise was Hulse and no one (Webber mainly) read his flickons at all (Thats what Hulse does and they shoudl read it better IMO).

I know we had calls for Pens but in the first half from where I sat Man City could have had 3 for Handball, two were a bit dodgy but there was one where Koz just about caught the ball so we were a bit lucky not to get them given against us.

Had to Laugh when the ball smacked Kenny in the face though, that was unlucky and V funny

we played better without tonge last season and this season we have too. We have won games without him and when he comes back we have been shit against pompy (2nd half) and man c.

A. Quinn is a much better player than tonge, and the only reason you cant see it sharpy is your too busy in the toilets tossing off over tonge.

Why was Keith Edwards, a player who played proffesinal football for over 20 years and is a sheffield united legend, saying Tonge was the best player on the pitch if he was as bad as you say? Why are people agreeing with me if he was so bad?

Did he not beat 2 man city players only for the ball to be taken off him by hulse? His passses didnt go astray and you know it, he's one of our few players who rarely gives it away. Do you not agree he was by far our best player the 2nd half of last season?

i thought tonge was poor in the first half but picked up alot in the second half and spread the play well, along with jags who improved alot. I would like to see Tonge on the wing though where he played when he was tearing defences open but i wouldn't want to drop squinny which means putting him in the middle, not sure if anyone would agree with me but i think he would make a good centre midfield player even if we will lose out on his left foot.
