I can't boo our own (unless we're 4-1 down to Shrewsbury at home, apparently), but I certainly won't be happy about seeing him in a United shirt.

It'd take some fucking astronomical performances from him to get us all onside. Perhaps that'd be the genius of it...

I won't boo him, I won't sing his name. I'll cheer if he scores.
Apparently Madine wanted to come to United whilst he was at Wendy so he's obviously not that thick

I had one violent on the booze mate as a yoof, and he was a fucking bellend I tell thee, but off the booze he's the most boring twat you could ever wish to meet and very polite, now has a wife and kids, works with underprivileged kids.

Maybe that's Madine, not the working with underprivileged kids part obviously.

He might as well eat underprivileged kids for tea.

That's how much he's disliked.

If we sign Madine they'll have to get him serving drinks and pies at half time.

"Pie and a pint please Gary"
"Certainly sir, and don't worry, it's on me"
"Gee thanks Gary, what a guy"

Might turn the fanbase round to him then.

Wilder has us all running around in circles focus in on the wrong things, maybe agents and managers are doing the same. Maybe not but I'll go with Wilder he's got us this far in difficult circumstances.

Lots of players I can't stand but would have them in team to do a job if it got us the points. I remember us signing Quinn and Geary after they had run us ragged at the lane then kissing the badge etc. If he does well everyone will see the wisdom of the move and hail Wilder a Demi God.

I answered "No" because I won't boo our players BUT ask me if I ever want him to play for us and the answer would be the same word.

That’s assuming Madine will have a positive effect on our points tally. I don’t think he’s good enough to have any effect at all. He doesn’t fit into our way of playing. I can see him coming here, hardly playing, and us paying him for the privilege to sit on our bench.

You also seem to be suggesting that our fans dislike Madine just because he played for Wednesday, which is very wide of the mark.
In the games he played in, Cardiff got a combined total of 24 points, scoring no goals. Cardiff got a grand total of 94 points. Coincidentally, he didn’t play in 5 games out of the 18 they played whilst he was there and they got the full complimentary of 15 points. I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this?

Should this signing actually happen, we should welcome every contribution he makes with a pigophobic silence.

Madine came in as sub in Blackpool's play off win today. He could be playing for them at Bramall Lane next season, what reaction will he get?

I remember the kop singing his name, hate the prick, once he got sent off against Brentford I tried to get the song going..... no one was interested funnily enough. Absolute cock womble and always will be

Weird view.

I remember him playing pretty well, scoring a couple of decent goals and helping us to promotion.

Him shushing the car park at BL on the team's return from Stoke before belting out a rendition of "Mind the Gap" was also absolute quality.

Played his part in getting us over the line. Players and people behind the scenes seemed to take to him and he seemed genuine, respectful and enjoyed it here. Barring the stupid sending off, he had no bother while he was with us (on or off the pitch) or been in any since he left that I know of- imagine him living and drinking around Blackpool a few years ago 😳. Been a total wanker in the past which he himself would probably agree with; but he just seems to have grown up over the last few years. Good on him. I’d give him a clap if he comes back against us... until his usual, inevitable goal.

Helped us, but I still see him as dirt from the anus.
