It was indeed. Used that pub many years ago when working as a slinger in SL2 rolling mill on Shepcote Lane.

Used to like The Commercial on Weedon Street, Wards house. They had some marvelous pictures of the old local darts teams hanging on the walls in there. John Lowe, Brian Langworth, Tony Littlewood, etc. Often wonder what happened to all the memorabilia from the old place when it shut down.
