Fair and true however life throws many problems and a strong athlete needs to be able to surpass what is going on in their personal life. From what has been seen on twitter he plays a better game with the ladies off of the pitch than he does with the ball on the pitch for us!

Not that I want to kick a hornets nest of a topic here, but I am talking about depression, a complex illness that no amount of conquered worldies will cure! I hope at PT he finds the environment that suits him.

All of the kids have until age 20 to prove that they can at least become a squad player. For next season this includes Whitehouse, Ironside, McFadzean, Kennedy, Jasper Johns (remember him ?).

If I'm not mistaken, Ironside is already 20 with McFadzean, Whitehouse and Kennedy 19 going on 20 very soon. Having seen them all a number of times and the one abysmal cameo from Jasper v Colchester, they should be all gotten rid of. None of them are very good.

The key date is 1 September each season, Joe was still 19 then.

Interesting about the fair play rules and the age restrictions within it. Had not realised that UnitedBlade. Good information.

McFadzean turns 20 early next year and as you say Ironside, Kennedy and Whitehouse are all now 20. Barry is 21. Johns will still only be 19 come next Sept.

None have really made any kind of impact and we are currently at lowest ebb we have been for some time. They have had 3 or 4 managers and still never made an impression. Hoping Diego may be different and can force his way in towards the end of the season.

As Clough has shown with King/Taylor he wont mess around. I don't think he fancies any of them really as none have even be on the bench (save Kennedy recently). Believe only McFadzean and Ironside have another year left on contract I believe; may even be another 2 but it wont matter if Clough does not see them part of things and believe all of the above will be gone by the summer unless something dramatic happens.

With McMahon, Williams, Williams, Hill, Howard, Porter, Westlake all out of contract; it may well be half the current squad are gone too by the start of next season. Won't be before time for me.
