Firmly scoffed with lashings of Hendoes from this poster.

Whereas at the beginning of the season (and last to be honest) I couldn't see the logic, CWAK have and his performances this season have been pretty fucking ace TBH. That ball yesterday for the Mousse - had Eriksen or De Bruyne played in Son or Aguero, Shearer and Linekar would have been sat naked in a hot tub last night on MotD.

Well done Lunny. Keep it up. He might be our new 'enforcer' and even 'playmaker'. The new Michael Brown?

Will you please cut a rather large slice for me as well, please? Oh.....and pass the Hendo’s

A small slice for me, please. I thought we should keep him as a squad member, likely to do a reasonable job as a sub in a few games. But first-team regular...? That was never going to happen...

no pie for me, for the first time in my life i got something right

I cant believe how consistently well he's played so far. Anther piece of pie here.

I think we should all stand in the carpark with our shoes off around a big steak and kidney pie, jump in and punch each other silly, last one standing can then eat the pie.
Just a thought... :tumbleweed:

Early this season, I think I said something along the lines of 'he's solid but needs to think quicker' and I saw his role as squad not 1st team. I trusted that CWAK saw something I hadn't but only in the same way that I did with Holmes and Leonard. I was wrong. Over the course of this season, he's gone from Solid but slow of thought to be, as I watch the games, the one that I just don't worry about anymore - I have such confidence in him that I feel, whatever the situation, he has the tools to come out on top. It all seems so effortless for him, his reading of the game is superb, rarely out of position, and his ability on the ball has taken huge strides forward. That pass yesterday epitomizes his recent uptick. He gains possession, drives forward, waits for the defender to commit and threads a divine ball that left Moose with no choice but to score. No disrespect to Bash, I absolutely adore the guy, but Lunny is like a more composed, more technically gifted, visually 'right' Bash. As others have said, it's like having a new signing. One we didn't even realise we needed.

Been so impressed with his long passing him and Norwood are two of the best passers I've seen in a blades shirts
His physicality suits the prem in a way it didn't the hustle and bustle of the championship ,having said that he was always one of our more intelligent and disciplined players but didn't have the fitness he seems to have now

I think we all feared the worst pre season when he started every game but wilder seems to know more than us when it comes to.spotting talent

Not sure we need to have this post every time he plays well but yes, he's proved everyone on here wrong.

Hope he keeps it up, seems like s good lad and he's had a shit time for 2 years

He’s a good solid player but I still think Freeman should play instead of him but what the fuck do I know? 🤷‍♂️🤣

Were we wrong though?..We were mainly saying he couldn't play the Coutts role, certainly I was...anybody could see he had a long pass, good physicality,a potential goal threat from distance, and maybe something to offer further down the line.
I'll take my slice though,i didn't think he'd nail down a regular place in the Prem...fair play to the lad.
