We needed another pacey, athletic md in the summer and we didn’t get one - bad recruitment.

Our md options are appalling really unless you want 8 defensive style players on the pitch.

I actually think he’s decent but I think we are now trying to fit players in to our system which isn’t working as they aren’t permitted to play their natural game.

The worst bit was when a short throw in went to him. He tried to kick it back to the thrower. But it was too obvious and their player easily intercepted it. Couldn’t even do the basics.

I don't think I do agree with the total anti-Lundstram sentiment. His output has been poor this season but our best chances have fallen to him for a reason. He has moments of positivity. He makes attacking runs. He takes shots. He drives forward with the ball. Thus far it has all ended in nothing good, but he is at least being accountable. He's taking some positive action & occasionally making things happen.

Moreover, we have no better alternatives.
