Oh for fucks sake listen to that. Poor old Kev, he wants to sell but its a stupid price. He bought it, made it good but then fucked it up, but ue wants the same price as when it was good, with whistles and bells.

Raul smacked the nail on the head but still McCabes apologists cling to the woodwork. You will be telling me next he is having to claim benefits because he is so poor and spent all his money on us.

the fact hes got personal wealth doesnt mean he HAS to squander most of it on us
If it had been you who had say 150 million , youd put in 50 and got nowt back , would you keep frittering your families future away, not apologist , its common sense , I dont defend the guy just try and understand his perspective , he wanted to help but hes lost enough , we have to accept that our frustration is no one else wants to throw away good money

BTL i think the biggest millstone is what he wants from the deal. And what about how our season in the sun positively effected both his bank account and his profile? If his decision making wasnt so piss poor i might have sympathy.

our year in the sun as you put it left us from having a 9 million a year wage bill against 8 million income to having a 26 million a year wage bill that then went 20m 18 16 15m ( all still with a 9m income) and any money we made like every other club that gets a year went up in smoke, his profile went up only from battling in court, he won 20 mill off west ham which we still await some , but people forget the 3 million we lost on the world cup bid and architects plans which were scuppered by the masons on the council and now incomes down to 6 mill

people always remember the income but never quite remember the costs

dropping out of the prem cripples lots of clubs on fine margins , wolves are the next club to suffer, next will be QPR

What he wants from the deal is a decent price , Id imagine, but how do you quantify it
yes hes made some shite appointments , but thats football its all risk s

If we do win the play off McCabe will have us back where we started , but will he get any plaudits , I doubt it very much, the man cant win , no mater what he does now ,All chairmen get coverage in the prem its overblown we get to see some right chumps. Thats why people join boards to show off , its always been that way. Hes no different , just been the first under social media spotlight so gets slaughtered

again , where are the grounds deeds , within sufc plc , this bogus argument hes nicked the deeds comes from some twenties silent movie
If he sells sufc , no one will ever buy it without the ground
If I were to buy sufc for 40/ 60 million , I wouldnt touch it with a 50 foot barge pole without the ground
If he only get 15 m investment he does right to keep the deeds

would you sell your 250 k house for 12000 or rent it out
depends on the offer

its only logical

Id love to see a new chairman , as itd mean we got fresh investment I am every bit as frustrated as the knockers, but all we can do is wait for our prince charming to give us a kiss

Can't believe I'm say this but..

...McC has supported us quite well financially - £70M on 21 loan players was not chicken feed.
[£70M on Jags/Walker/Nauton wages would have been better spent]
£1M/month is not chicken feed.

It's not a new chairman we need, its a new decision maker as well as a manager.

Charles Green/Turry, I'm not holding my breath.
Robson/Blackwell/Adams/Wilson, I'm not holding my breath.

How could you get it so wrong Mr McCabe but better the devil you know?

I was sad to see him go, but imagine if he'd stayed and, like McDonald, failed to reproduce the same form this year. There's no guarantee he'd get another opportunity to play in the top division and it would have been shame.

As long as the price is decent and we as a club, through years of poor decision making and short termism, fail to offer good players the chance to fulfil their ambitions as footballers, we have to accept that they'll leave, we can't be holding them back for the sake of it.

It would have been different if we'd turned the slide and showed by now that we were in the process of building something. Then we could have told players that they were a vital part of making this club great again. But this season is the fifth season in a row which has been worse than the previous and the team is not looking like it's improving at all.

Bergen - has it not occurred to you that there might be a link between "not holding players back for the sale of it" and the team not improving at all?

Jesus wept.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm flogging this dead horse. The debate is over. This sell to the first bidder strategy has been proved not to work. The league table tells us that.

Give me the benefit of doubt once in a while and you'll understand more of my points. The club's policy have been for some time to give huge contracts to players usually past their best in the hope of a quick success. To fund that the club has had to accept high bids - and lately also smaller bids, if it's meant the wage bill have been lowered .

I've said numerous times that I've disagreed with the club's policy. If we'd try to build a team with long term success the aim, rather than this foolish, desperate and expensive bouncing-back-plan we've had since 2007, we'd be in a good position to hold onto our youngsters for longer and improve year by year.
