Lowest point for me was watching our ambassadors stab us in the back before the club did anything at all.....

Threats, bad pr and ultimatums,.when it was over not one man jack of em said anything in praise of the club, lots of people have turned thier back on heaton, ennis, and webster for ever, hope these judases are happy with the promised 30 pieces of silver...

Before you moan, those that want to moan about my stance here....

Remind me what law the club broke, and how many times evans trained with us, and also, who said well done united, when we threw that lad on the dump...

Locked horns with you on the Evans issue in the past but agree on this entirely. Had we signed him fair enough but we had only agreed to let him train.

The entire handling of the Evans situation was a low point in our history for me. Fingers crossed it's upwards from here.

Being refused travel insurance on health grounds!

Try and keep footie in perspective folks ;-)

If we don't have our health , we cannot appreciate the high and low points following a club.

SUFC does nothing for our health , with 2014 having more lows than highs both on and off the field.

A number of blades on this forum are no longer with us , which does make you reflect.

Mr Clough and the board have a lot riding on there shoulders for 2015 , as 2014 for SUFC has been 4 out of 10.

Evans , ambassadors etc have all been a unwelcome side show , lets just get out of this league , this year , and we will all be happy blades.

I had a fairly good year.

My little girl getting tosilitis 5 times was pretty shitty but The Ched Evans affair made me genuinely depressed about the 18th century opinions I read from our fans, mainly on social media.

The whole KP and Piers fucking Morgan claiming KP was bullied while continuinely bullying Cook was pretty shitty on the back of an Ashes roasting for English Cricket fans

Sorry, couldn't resist .........
Surely only lads get that :)

(My daughter, older than 5 at the time, had a bought of recurring tonsillitis for a while too and it's crap to see a loved one - especially one so little cope with that)

Haha suspect my 18 month old boy may get that in 11 years or so!

It's crap as she is only 4 and gets really poorly with it, the Dr. hopes that she will grow out of it and surgery wont be required. Hope so.

1. Everything to do with Ched Evans
2. Losing a bag with €800 in it 3 weeks ago
Nothing to worry about is it I seem to recall you stating in another thread that you had got a "few bob".;)

Not making the effort to go to the Fulham match.

I had a ticket, but was put off by the train/tube strike that evening, and the weather was crap. I am sorry but I let the club down, also the fans who were there, the players and management staff, our leaders, my wife and children, the dog. :(

It has been gnawing away at me a bit this last year.

I agree about 'what law did we break' but:

Evans let us down by doing it, so as for 'throwing him on the dump', I think you need some perspective there.

The club couldn't have made a more ham-fisted, clumsy mess of the whole affair if they tried.

Evans did us no favours at all by staying silent regarding the twitter cunts. Regardless of your opinions of Heaton, Webster and Ennis (and I am 'wavy hand' about their threats and actions - but what difference has it made anyway?), I think you have to have the brain of a peanut if you don't see that.

I think many of us agree on how poorly Evans and the club managed the situation.

Although regarding the reaction of so called charity patrons was poor, when in the reality is we never signed Evans. Like many of us have pointed out they stepped down from a charity that does a lot of good in the community for the sake of their media careers. They managed to stick the boot into the club by making their "stance" known but damaged the charity in the process. I hope they all feel good about themselves because I hope they never come back to Bramall Lane again.

Yeah, the only 'charity' these patrons support is their own. Can't see Ennis-Hills smug gob on the 'Vitality' ads. without wanting to put my foot through the TV.

They've had their say, now it's time for ours. The sooner they remove the ill-consided Ennis crap from the Lane stand the better. She's never done owt for us.

The reflected glory we can gain from Ennis has gone since the 2012 Olympics anyway.

That stand needs naming after Tony Currie.

I respect everybodies view on all subjects, but let's agree to diss agree here, they did the damage upfront before anything had happened, its a pre emptive strike, it worked, its cost us a £3million rated striker, but undoubtedly we'd have ruined the clubs reputation indefinately,.best way to describe the situation is to call it a draw, we didn't win, we didn't lose, in a pr sense anyway..

Nobody cares about united except unitedites, cats out of the baag now isn't it...

Bladesway, you made great points and I took a lot on board from you, the damage was bad enough, but was set to escalate to a situation we would never recover from, you were one of the people who were banging the drum that the negatives outweghed the positives way too much, and that the clubs integrity should be safeguarded, in the end my loayalty to the clubs decision, and the player, were misguided, he clearly became too much trouble for our clubs future...

The shitstorm was so bad that when we turned our back on him, even wendy didn't take the piss,.that says it all doesn't it..

Happy new year mate..

1. The Crewe game in February
2. Hull make it 2-2 at Wembley
3. Clough's team vs Bristol City, the first in a series of a number of baffling personnel and tactical decisions

I would add Maguire but I was expecting that. These 3 were worse as they were unexpected.

Hammering at Crewe

The Recruitment Shambles in the summer.

Losing at Home to Barnsley

Losing at Port Vale on Boxing Day.
