Apologies as this may be deemed wrong board, but as it's the main board thought it most appropriate

Realised last night at bed time that I've lost two season tickets. I probably dropped them somewhere between gangway B on the kop and the car park just behind BBC Radio Sheffield. There was a tenner wrapped around them.

If anyone has found them, or knows someone who has, then I would appreciate them getting in touch

Cheers everyone

I don't have the season tickets but I can suggest that you buy a wallet. Then you could keep the cards AND your tenner in the wallet and avoid such incidents in the future.

Wallets vary in price from a few quid to many thousands dependent on the brand/manufacturer. They can include all or some of the following: zips, card slots, note pockets, coin pockets, clear plastic displays for the shitty passport photo of your Mrs that you insist on carrying around despite having a more up to date one as a screensaver on your phone.

I've heard man bags and fanny packs are also viable alternatives. Someone on here might even have an old one of the above that they want to donate.

This advice is for free, no need to thank me.

I have never carried a wallet in my life. Too much bulge in the trousers for a start and if you lose it ,you lose the lot. Strictly cash and one card man myself.

That's the great thing with a wallet, because of it's size, you tend to notice straight away if you lose it and start looking straight away.

The only time I've dropped my wallet when out and about, I found it soon after as I realised it was missing within a minute. Also as it has ID in it you have a decent chance of getting it back if you don't realise you have lost it.

I know its Sunday but ffs do you have to give Blade58 a fecking sermon about the merits of owning a wallet.

Ive lost a suitcase before so the size thing wouldn't work with me :)

I wouldn't worry too much B58. Since season tickets are now electronic cards, they can just be deactivated and reissued I think.

Neither do I, card holder with money clip is my preferred method.

Although given the Range Rovers etc you own do you not have staff carrying your loot around for you?!

You lot should have put that extra hour in bed to better use, it was obviously a tongue in cheek remark.

Although if I ever end up owning a wallet stall on Castle Market I'll know not to bother hawking my wares in your direction.

I lost my virginity with a Dutch MILF on a campsite outside Warsaw. Never got it back.:(

I left a wallet with about £300 in 20's & 10's on the bar at the local working men's club after picking up the pints and heading back to our table. 5 minutes later there's an announcement over the club tannoy system asking if any had lost a wallet. One of the bar staff noticed it and put it to safe keeping as she was not exactly sure who's it was. Got it back all safe and secure thanks to someone being honest.

This ^^^^

Give then a call B58, or if you can call into the ticket office with proof of identity, they might even redo one while you wait. My lad had a dodgy card last season, the first time it happened, the ticket office gave him a match-day ticket to use but when it failed again, they set him up a new card there and then in the queue before the game. it only took them a couple of minutes.
