I dont even know how I feel about this team.
There is nothing about this squad of players, or management that gives me any hope towards the next season.
I actually enjoyed football under Selles more than I do now, yes we lost all 6, but that first half against Bristol City, the display at home against Millwall, we actually looked like we could play.
The players we brought in last summer, Tanganga, christ he is poor. Bindon, poor. The amount of red cards, yet, Wilder will always get a free pass, cause he's one of us.
Nothing more to say, roll on the summer? For more injury prone loanees from the prem.

It's called being a Blade.
Deal with it.

Can Wilder keep his job???? Major rethink and rebuild next season with minimal cash layout. Will COH now think were we right to bring him back???

Usual stuff

This is on wilder now. Sorry but hes treading thin ice. And im a wilder fanboy.
Agreed. We usually look good up until the first goal is scored (either for us or the opposition). We need a lot more character on the pitch next season. Maybe a couple of those “culture carriers” we’re always hearing about

Statistics would suggest we should've won 3-1ish. We did enough to be out of sight in the first half, yet went in at 0-0..

The issue is, the fitness in the squad is woeful. We consistently burn out in the second half of games and we have nothing to play for, so there's not much fight in us when the momentum inevitably shifts.

Plenty of us in ShoutBox could see it was Groundhog Day and that we'd go on to lose the game after their equaliser.

They're on the beach, regardless of what Wilder says.

I also fell into that trap.

Under Selles we played tippy tappy possession football. Was initially quite impressed then I realised we not only never had a shot but the players showed little interest in shooting.

We were great in and around the centre circle but after about 4 matches I suddenly dawned on my we would struggle to win a match and would be relegated.

Any of us could have written that script at 1pm

Zero resilience, don't know why we bother second half - this squad and management are utterly predictable

And again, why no away team announcement pre match? Does that count for a tactical move or just Sinclair being childish?

I'm not disappointed - it was exactly as expected.

Wilder straight off down the tunnel again. Like Wembley. Can't wait for his presser to take some responsibility.....

They played fine until the equaliser. I’m surprised at the complete lack of resilience.

At pro level it’s not just about resilience. It’s being told what to do if we go 1-0 up, it’s being told what to do if we get pegged back to 1-1….Wilder has zero beyond plan A. It’s so glaringly evident now I’m surprised fans haven’t cottoned on!!

Wrexham had two things we didn't and haven't had all season
Heart and cardiovascular fitness
We've lacked the latter for some time. Not sure where it's gone wrong on that front really, I seem to remember under Wilder mk1 we barely had a player lost to injury and had some real athletes. I caught a bit of Ipswich v Millwall earlier and we frankly look unprofessional in comparison fitness wise

We never seem to get a good preseason in
One of the reasons is signing players so late in the window who usually themselves haven't had a pre season either

This season are best two players are jairo and bamford signed on frees because neither were match fit or capable of consistently playing ninety minutes

Looking forward to seeing the back of some of these players.. Gus can go, and can Peck. Oli isnt the same player unfortunately, port vale might be his level. Hopefully Tanganga is home sick and heads back to london

Doesnt matter the manager, we'll keep getting the same result.

Sack wilder, sack the next manager, then the next one and the next one, do it 5 times in one season, you'll get the same result with the same players.

You have to be realistic with team we have and the start of the season that had to be endured.

We will have to sell next season due to no parachute payments, the standard of player will be less, a new manager less to work with, and probably the same league position as this season - brace yourselves.
