Going to Lazio isn’t he? We could probably manage the fee but not the total package including wages and even if we could we aren’t going to be a more attractive proposition than Lazio.
If in an alternate universe we did have some money to spend on one of Leicesters prospects the one to test their resolve on is Jayden Joseph. He’s starting to look seriously impressive.
If you google him you’ll see him down as a right back but I’ll be surprised if long term he stays there. He’s athletic aggressive and good on the ball and has played in midfield as a 6, 8 and even I think as a 10 coming through. Right now he’d offer us cover at rightback and cover as a utility midfielder but in a year or two he could realistically be a starter at Championship level in any of the above positions meaning if Seriki stays you could still get them both on the pitch together.
In short he’d be a good version of what Shackleton was supposed to be but younger with more potential and technical ability.
It won’t happen though not experienced enough etc.
