Collins has transformed Vales results. Of course he's a good centre half at this level, of course he is. Brings experience and know how to the organisation of the defence and verbally helps midfield too. Just what we're missing.

Surprised about the Wallace views, his United cameos he looked very good.

Collins is a reasonable enough player at this level. Not surprised hes had a few decent games. Hopefully he'll get a move to vale or else where on the back of his loan

The Collins comments are very interesting.

So, he gets 2 more games at PV, gets a bit fitter - is there a chance he could come back into the squad and possible team in our hour of need?

I presume he is contracted to us until June 1st - just wonder if our stubborn manager will relent, given the CH issue?

Interesting dilemma.

If we don't go up,Hopefully we will get Collins back.
The route for that to happen means one thing.

I never bought any of the Cloughs fan boys bollocks that Collins suddenly was crap, after 3 seasons alongside Harry.
Even more evidence of the utter horlicks Chough has made of this season.

No, they're talking about Kieran, the one with no apparent attributes, not James, the broken one who actually looks really handy when he's on the pitch.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kieran Wallace has shown nothing in his time with us to suggest he should be playing above the level we signed him from.

Let us not. Although I would have put Collins in a long time ago (and I am not at an admirer at all) the thought of some of these players taking a penalty in the playoffs fills me with dread. Anyone who knows they are not going to be here next year shouldn't be anyway near the play offs as their commitment is not 100% to the cause.

I'm talking about Kieran Wallace, James Wallace isnt out on loan. Kieran Wallace played pretty well in the games I saw him play. Far too few games to write him off and he's shown potential.

James Wallace, can't comment think I've seen him once for about half a game

I've always thought Collins was a player we could and should improve on with little difficulty. How we've actually failed to do that is beyond me.

Again, 100% agree and just looking at it in those simple terms is very depressing!

He's just looked very poor so far, in my opinion. He hasn't shown the ability to pass, dribble, cross, shoot or tackle. Plus, if my memory doesn't deceive me, he took the worst free kick ever where he attempted to cross the ball, badly scuffing it along the floor. I think Foxy has the video.

I'm not writing him off, just saying he hasn't shown anything thus far. He might come back and prove me silly, but I'm doubtful on this occasion. I was wrong to say Basham was poor in another thread, but I still think Coutts is terrible, so I'm under no illusion that I'm right every time. Neither am I always wrong. :)

If you haven't seen much of him, James Wallace does look like a good player. I really hope we can get him fit for next season. He's a tidy passer who looks to move us forward, but he also has a decent build, suggesting he has the strength to hold on to the ball.

Sounds like the game you saw Kieran Wallace was where he didnt get off the bench. Looked decent when I've seen him.

I've seen him involved (using the term loosely) in competitive matches for us more than once. None of these occasions has changed my view.

Do they let people take free kicks from the subs bench? I think you're thinking of American Football.

How many have gone backwards under NC and how many improved?
It would be an interesting debit and credit account.

Kieron Wallace isn't better than Dimaio or DDG just to name a couple so questions should be asked on this specific transfer. We already have players on our books who have been trained better in every department necessary to succeed at a professional level, we didn't need his sort of player what ever that may be.

Che Adams on another note is something different that can contribute to us winning games of football, where as although it's still early days, i don't think Kieron Wallace has a chance of succeding at league one level never mind above. I usually like to give every player a chance but unfortunately i really do think i might have seen enough of this lad already to give these assertions.

To me, this was one of Clough's most bizarre moves of the season. He seemed to go straight into the 16 as well and started a few. I have no idea what he saw from the few games I saw him in.

I don't so much as blame Clough, i blame his brother who might have said something along the lines of he's the real deal get him played from the off sort of thing, then Cloughy has realised his short comings and got him out on loan, who knows.

If Wikipedia is right k. Wallace has appeared in 4 games, Diego 2, neither playing enough to make a proper assessment... The game Diego played at Preston he looked average in the first half, decent in the second. But then again Higdon had a good second half too. Doesn't tell you much really

Collins was the only one of our first four penalty takers to score against Huddersfield.

I don't want to go over the whole DDG debacle again, it's been done to death mate, all i'll say is that DDG will have a lot better career than Kieron Wallace who struggles to kick a ball on occasions, that much can't be hard to see.

Don't understand why we signed Kieran Wallace. Just seems to have pushed home-grown players like Dimaio & Khan further from the first team. We had more than enough midfielders already.

The times Ive seen him does not really look good enough
He would have to improve vastly to get in front of some of our other youngsters

Maybe Nigel plans on taking us down to Kieran's level rather than Keiran up to ours?

Isn't Wallace a former Forest academy player and England u-16/17?

The key word in that sentence is former but I do get your point Bush. I still stand by what I said though regarding his quality.
