I believe that we should make the most out of the loan window opening.
For a start send back Sammon and Hammond to their parent clubs. This would free up enough funds alone to bring in 5 effective players and eliminate playing with at least 2 men less than our opposition, week in week out.
It might also remove resentment from other players at our club at the amount of pay these 2 are getting more than them. I heard from someone at the ground (I don't know if he really knows) but he said that Hammond gets £18K per week. Being on a Premiership contract, I think that could be correct or not far off the mark. I would guess that Sammon would be on a Championship related contract probably at least £5K or more.

Sending those players back will cost money so it won't free up any funds. Might as well keep them until the end of the season.

Trouble is Hodgy, Hammond is to Adkins what Monty was to Warnock.
