What’s everyone reckon?

The Ampadu-Osborn dreadnaught once more?
Another masterclass in how to play LCB by Jack Robinson?
Giving 5 at the back another run out since it’s clearly working really well?
Few square passes in our own half followed by a hopeless punt upfield to gift them possession again?

The possibilities are endless.

Don't you think Lowe might have a run out? My bigger concern is that Didsy might be exhausted after carrying much of the team last night whereas Mousset is probably just exhausted.
Come on Blades, you can win this one.

Cometh the moment, cometh the Rodwell!

Send Ampadu back. He's not ready to add to our team. He's a pretty unremarkable footballer right now.

I would try 3 keepers, a couple of groundsmen, a waitress or 3, a radio commentator and a bloke to drive them to and from the game.

Formation could be rotated during the game. Seeing as we are going to the palace, we should ask the Queen if she fancies being on the subs bench as well.

Looks like Wilder’s trying to do that. Apparently he’s in favour of a break.
I thought a break favoured the big clubs as it allows them time to get their superstars back up to fitness?! I think he must now have taken the “if you can’t beat them (we literally can’t beat anyone) join them” approach.

Fuck knows, it was reported on TalkShit that him and Allardyce appear to be in favour of a break. I guess if we lost half our first team we’d be more fucked than we are now but if Man U lost half their first team they could just play players who are roughly as good as the players they’re replacing.

I don’t even know who our first team players are anymore.

I'd like to see Bogle play at RWB, give Baldock a rest and see if Bogle can offer more going forward. I appreciate that this is a gamble defensivel, but it's not like we're great defensively at the minute either, although not bad. Hope Ampadu is dropped, but only if we can bring in a centre mid in time - not likely. I just don't think Norwood has a good performance in him right now, looks shot of confidence - not the only one of course. Maybe move Bash right side midfield and Ampadu to Bash's position could be an option.

The sad thing is, if Wilder had left us at the end of last season and we had a new bloke serving up this shit, every single Blade would be saying ‘sack him’. Wilder saved us from being a perpetual joke club, we’d have been either at the bottom end of the championship or back in L1 if we hadn’t been promoted, I’m certain of that, our owners wouldn’t have been able to match the “investment” (yearly losses) that most championship owners have to put in, we’d be Ipswich.
I’d have accepted relegation this season, by a few points, Wilder had to kick so many cans down the road to get us where we are, our squad when we went up was thinner than Kate Moss, he’s stretched the elastic until it snapped. But it’s a struggle to take this. I still feel like it could be a big mistake getting rid but if I’m being honest, I wouldn’t be that distraught if he walked tomorrow. I don’t expect us to stay up but give us something to show you can turn it around.

I was surprised that wasn’t the second substitution last night. I know Mousset couldn’t do a full 90 after coming back from his many problems and Fleck was an obvious one as he at least drives forwards and looks to make things happen, certainly more than Os does in that position but I’d have expected Bogle for Baldock as the other one, not fucking Norwood again.

If not why not?
Where's Moore?

Idiotic selection not to have him as your target man up top.

I don't really care too much about personnel, I just want us to get a grip of midfield and see Didzy in the no.10 role.

I hate us playing 5 at the back if the LCB doesn't step out - it's not worth losing a midfielder for.

It's hard to believe that our left hand side used to be the more effective - Stevens, JOC and Fleck...only one of those players is missing and it's fallen apart

time to play a back 4 and to have a bloody good go.

--------------------Ramsdale
-----Baldock----Egan----Ampadu-----Stevens
---------------------Basham---------------------
--------------McGoldrick----Osborn
-------Bogle---Brewster----Burke

Funniest thing about the best transfer window of our lifetime: our only options to change the formation are to play a championship right back and a player for without a position who hasn’t won a PL game in 25 games as our wing options 🤣🤣

That highlights Wilder’s problems, for me. I don’t think for one minute either Robinson or Ampadu could play in a PL back four. I agree we need to add to the midfield but do we have a striker who could play as a lone striker? I’m not convinced we do. So how do we add to the midfield when we have to play three at the back and two up front?

Whatever else , we must stick with the Moose / Brewster partnership up front , who ripped the PL a new one last night as many on here predicted they would . :)

As long as Mousset is nowhere near the first team. Spends his whole time on the pitch just jogging around trying to look cool. Never attacks space, never shows intensity. I'd personally drive him back to Bournemouth. They must be laughing their little socks off
