Something has just got me thinking after I posted about Jimmy hill on the Coventry thread.
That twat wanted us banning from football after the wba game when there was nobody left on the pitch (abandoned).
Did anyone know of anyone who tried to compensate themselves due to not being fully entertained for there money's worth?,

If that was possible in football, most Unitedites would be bloody minted by now.

Was at the Tate for the Turner prize a couple of years ago. Cost about a tenner to get in and was complete rubbish. I know it was supposed to be concept art but it was just noise and flashing lights. Walked round in about ten minutes and was well vexed, so demanded a refund. The lass on the counter had never been asked for one before, and after a bit of discussion with the manager and my visible representations at the front of the queue I got a refund. I was wearing a very old 90's Stone Island jacket that I'd found and forgotten I had and a pair of Trimm Trabb, so whether they thought I would 'kick off' I don't know.

I'm also sure some of the arty types thought my protest and attempt to get a refund was actually part of the Turner show.

Anyway, after said refund, I was asked not to return. In my youth a couple of licensed premises asked me not to come back, but I've never been barred from an art gallery before.

So, the morale of the story is yes, protest and yes, seek a refund, if you aren't getting what you paid for. However, you may never be welcome again at BDTBL....

Apparently the same twat did a runner with quite a few players money, when he fled the American Soccer dream...!!!

By my reckoning, if you was wearing your 90's Stone Island jacket you are well into your 40's and possibly nearer 50.

I don't quite know what to make of that. You could try calling the Samaritans.

;)

I'm wondering what the likelihood is of someone who works at the Tate being able to spot hoolie clothing.

Maybe they mistook you for a twat
