With a vacancy at centre half this might be a time to keep an eye on Chesterfield's own skilful stopper. Town have just turned down a bid from Leeds, but Leeds are a basket case and maybe Chesterfield just don't trust them to pay up.

If Leeds think he is good enough for them, though, since we have the Maguire money still in the top drawer and Dave Allen has said he isn't going to spend any more money of his own money on CFC maybe a bid from the Blades is a possibility?

I've had nothing but grief off Hull City fans on boards all the way through the Harry Maguire debable. Telling me how we are a small league one club who should accept any money offered to us for Maguire and how we don't really have right to demand more for a league one standard player and how we think we are still big time charlies when the truth is we are an average league one club and how our fans, manager and board are all full of themselves this year and think promotion is granted.
